There's still a chance messi could stay but it was mostly based on a mis-translated quote from messi's father.
Both barty and messi haven't changed their mind.

Yeah, Mendy is less of a risk against teams we are going to dominated - I like him for rotation but a better LB is required as well, I am not sure Ake was purchased for the reason, perhaps 3 at the back.
