In addition to halting newspaper production, although I have no idea how they managed this feat, there have been other demos today, including a disco dancing protest outside Buck House which is rather sweet, but then I’m a sucker for hippie chicks, yeah I know v sexist. No idea if this is genuine but I’m in a mellow mood.

Still none the wiser how they managed to disrupt newspaper production though.

Sometimes I really love how unique this country is!!

Makes me proud!

I’m a massive hypocrite in many ways but I support Extinction Rebellion and their cause. I look forward to the day the young people of today snatch control of the world from the selfish, small minded, xenophobic boomers and make it a better place.

Their children will call them dinosaurs too when the next wave of nonsense happens. I wont be alive to see the newer generation getting roasted by their children for being selfish iphone needing starbucks planet killing parasites, but it'll be doozer.

Heartless bastards

Ha, I imagine that brief disruption in trade left them no choice but to lay off those paperboys and girls who are probably on less than a fiver an hour.

£5 an hour?!!! I used to get £5 a week on my round, then again it was a fair few years ago

They are doing their job.

The press review on sky news both pundits are kicking off demanding "press freedom" should be protected by the government outlawing protests against them.

Johnson the authoritarian **** is considering draconian measures to limit protest in the name of freedom of the press. What a fucking idiot, protest is an essential part of democracy and without it we wouldn't be anywhere near the country we are today. There is a long history of protest in this country andits a foundation stone of democracy, Johnson if he acts and bans protest will be behaving like a fucking fascist dictator.

I'm sure all the country is overjoyed at seeing these workshy wankers pulling their inane stunts at this jolly time in everyone's lives. It's just the tonic we need to boost the economy as we sink deeper into debt and try to get to get back to some sort of normality. Make earning a living as difficult as possible for as many as you can, that'll get the full support of the populace, in no time at all you could be stuffing the Commons with MP's, just like the Greens.

@blueinsa is going to be fuming when he sees this thread in the morning ;)

Haha you trolling fucker ;-)

We sell Organic and Natural Health and Beauty products for a living so its folk like this that are our target audience and customer base.

Scenes on here when posters discover through a company called Ecologi, we have planted 124 trees in the last 2 months via a percentage of our sales on the website in Madagascar and that we use nothing but fully recycled packaging and materials and that the vast majority of our products are Organic, Natural, Vegan, Recyclable, Zero Waste and fully certified as such.

I probably do more for the environment than 99% of you on here.

Dancing outside of the Palace i have no issue with, its a bit of fun and a laugh at the same time as getting publicity but protests like stopping the papers is a bit fucking stupid.

When Dawn Butler thinks its great, you know it really fucking isn't.

Can I link my site boss? All visits and possible sales are most welcome in these dark, hard, brexit times? ;-)

Brilliant, I'm pleased you're doing well, and fair play for the Madagascar initiative, it's brilliant. How do you promote these products do you glue yourself to the local commuter train, or prefer to dance in the market square painted blue with your knackers hanging out?
;)

I'm on my way to Mod towers and im planning on chaining myself to Rics server. I'm going to pull the plug on the brexit thread for 24 hours as the disruption to half a dozen posters lives will be fucking immense.

It’s more symbolism that anything else. No one in their right mind can seriously argue that a protest of this sort can stop the population knowing the news of the day and claim it is seriously damaging freedom of the press

Most people consume news online and unless I’m mistaken, they haven’t taken control of television or radio towers?

What I found interesting is that the Murdoch press have a plant on Merseyside. Given the whole don’t buy the Sun movement I found it a little odd. I accept that Liverpool isn’t the whole of Merseyside and everyone has to make a living but nevertheless.....
