If you want to finish 3rd or 4th sure. Alternatively, do better at finding buyers, or stop giving players contracts that make them impossible to shift when they don't deserve them.

Haaland doesnt want to come to city - he is more likely to got to utd as he has got a connection to OGS - he wil end up their, Madrid or B.Munich

Well his dad used to play for city so he has a connection to City too.
Not saying he's coming but there is still a family link to city.

You could even argue that given that's the club who ended his dad's career he'd be less likely to want to go to United

Its well known that Haaland has some sort of connection to OGS unfortunately TH has pretty much confirmed that Haaland nearly went to utd before he went to Dortmund - he wont come here....

So we bring in two players to resolve the gaps we had last season and are additions to the squad we had and that means we're going to drop to 3rd or 4th?

They partially resolve 2 of many gaps. Meanwhile Chelsea have solved all but one of theirs and we haven't stopped either the Dippers or VARchester United using the weapons that cover up theirs.

Ake and Torres have not completely solved the areas they address, let alone all of our issues. Chelsea are a keeper away from a title winning side, Liverpool and United will continue to benefit from all the refereeing and VAR which means they don't need to do much in the market. We need to be that much better than everyone else just to inch the title and we're still well short.
