Wait until Suarez is sold (to Juventus?) ... bet we hear some scathing stuff from him very soon afterwards.
Hasn’t he gone there for nowt?

Messi pays for himself (esp on a free transfer which is what it would be) so that argument makes no sense
Got pelted with rotten fruit and was made to stand in the corner wearing a utd top. How’d he get on in training today?
Irrelevant of where the money comes from,it was part reasoning for the "not to bother" scenario.
I wasn't making it an argument, you are now,so I'm saying next year is no use, many will agree, many won't,all about opinion, mine differs to yours, fine, fucking get on with it
He probably hasn't just bollocks imo although it does sound like kids in a sweet shop fighting all this Koulabily shiteStill doesnt explain why his agent would rack up the air miles - I get that he is acting as an intermediatry
And your point is?And I maybe wrong but I think WE won the title the year before.
Always strengthen when your at the top, DONT be complacent, things change quickly. And your point is?
I didn't mention anything about suggestion. Plenty of blues wrote them off after they ran us close the season before and won the CL. Then won the PL last season with no significant reinforcements. I hope they do fall away but no one knows.Nothing to suggest we are taking a chance,we've already improved the squad and will improve more.
Totally agree with that principleAlways strengthen when your at the top, DONT be complacent, things change quickly.
We're making inroads.Always strengthen when your at the top, DONT be complacent, things change quickly.
with who? please tell me a LB,CB and CMTotally agree with that principle
We're making inroads.
Have they got enough pictures of him in the kit yet ?
Messi's dad still talking to us over the weekend. Make of this whatever you prefer!
When does he take the jet from Barcelona (now in Florida)?Messi's dad still talking to us over the weekend. Make of this whatever you prefer!
Encouraging! I hope it's about coming before this window closes as opposed to some preliminary agreement to sign him for the 22/23 season onwards. I don't Know if you can clarify that or not but anyway, anything is better than nothing. We can still dine out on it either way.Messi's dad still talking to us over the weekend. Central defenders tend to have a longer sell by date than some outfield players. If they stay fit, they can go to 35 before they start to burn out.Having defended the club for not buying Maguire, I have to agree with your last point. We now seem to be looking at a choice between Koulibaly or Koulibaly if we buy an experienced CB. It bothers me how many suggest he may be past his peak, although that might well be bollox. The only other contenders appear to be relatively raw.
Our record with young central defenders is not good. Those we buy turn to shit. Those we move on seem to blossom elsewhere. You‘d think out of all the decent teams in the world there’d be some strong established candidates in their mid-twenties.

Either they got very lucky with injuries these last two seasons or they factor in how injury prone a player has been prior to signing. Their bench is not a strength but they get away with it because their first team players all seem to play for most of the season without lengthy injury interruptions.I didn't mention anything about suggestion.
