Not sure it is hate but your post lacks clarity of thought. Pep made the correct decision I believe back in June bringing the young lad in. In general he played well in the following games and justified his selection.
His rather public preference to return home has changed matters considerably but the manager is best placed to decide if he should hang around till the end of his contract. Despite the obvious physical shortcomings Garcia is an outstanding young centre back and while nobody can predict the future I would be inclined to wager that his prospects are bright. It is entirely acceptable to question his loyalty and lack of suitability for the PL but his footballing talent is obvious and admirable for one so young.
We needed a top cb to step up last season and instead Pep had to play Fern. Head out of the sand mate. He is not good enough.

Thst doesn't mean Garcia is the 2nd coming of Franco Baresi but it does mean at this point In time he's 3rd choice CB if you don't include Dinho.Nothing to do with hate. As I said it would make sense to get rid now for a fee. But it surely depends on whether we have takers for Stones and Ota.

Yes it is an unfortunate situation with him not wanting to renew but if Pep insists on keeping him for the last year of his contract, there must be a plan somehow. Sane was shipped off so fast in the same scenario.

Pep seems to disagree.I disagree with your assessment. Garcia Has performed ok but we need better than ok if we are going to win the league again. He is slow and his physical attributes are lacking. I go back to the same straight forward question? Is he good enough to start at cb for city? No

If the Messi deal is still a possibility I presume he would be part of it, maybe that's why Pep is saying he wants him to stay regardless of contract.

From what I've seen he's a very calm defender under pressure unlike Stones and Otamendi and even the saintly Laporte.
He also moves the ball forward quickly and accurately. He will be very good for Barca. His lack of physical presence probably suits La Liga better.
And as he wants to leave I'd get rid of him now. But the idea that he's no good is frankly infantile.
