...apparently its the club's fault...for not being serial cheats across a variety of sports presumably...

The clearly shows the key difference between Klopp's team and their's, discipline. Would you imagine any of Klopp's player doing this stupid thing?
So true. I believe it comes from the human rights abusers that own the club. Because of their money they believe that are above other people and can do whatever they please, which they did with the ffp CAS farce. The players clearly feel the same way.

The half naked photo of Foden doing the rounds on Twitter ain't great though mate.

As said before the state of Phil's relationship is not really anybodies business despite the media thinking otherwise. It is fair to say however as a bloke I really would not be looking forward to talking my way out of this one with all the video evidence that has come to light. Whilst its not exactly blue content there is certainly enough for any woman i have ever met coming to the conclusion that something has gone on. Phil will be getting more flak the a Lancaster over Berlin, this whole affair could well actually make him or break him.

WTF??

Were you pitch perfect as a kid??

You ever make a mistake or has it given you the right to hold that big stone in the air to lob at him??
He knew the rules and severity of having to maintain isolation. I don't give a shit about him wanting his leg over, but I do give a shit with his blatant disregard for human safety

I think Foden missed a trick, if reports in the tabloids are correct and Greenrag had been chatting to these girls days before he reached Iceland he was the instigator, as soon as he told Phil of the plan to get them back to the room Phil should have gone straight to Southgate to snitch on him, get the rag sent home, and he would have been an even bigger hero than he was before this mess!

Still classed as a mistake; one that most of us have done in our youth.

The fact that a pandemic is part of the issue is something you haven't dealt with in your youth, though!

Here's the thing, I actually blame the Gov and Phil's peers for his stupidity on the 'Rona.

We've had the Gov tell us for ages (before they U-turned as per usual) that the 'Rona doesn't affect the youth in the same way as adults, so the young 'uns think they're bulletproof in many ways.

Then you get the likes of Walker and some music people doing what they do in this period of time.

I'm not giving Foden a pass, I'm saying he was dumb, but he's still a kid; a dumb one that thought he knew better. It's a new level of invaluable experience and responsibility he might not have gotten any other way.

Wooooa the indignation continues.

Not even nearly as much hatred for him on rival fan forums as there is here wow
HATRED !!! Thats way over the fucking top mate.Indignation and disgust yes ,as he fully deserves it but I`ve yet to see a post on here suggesting HATRED towards the lad.
Off course he fucked up.He knows it and has sent a written grovelling apology to all concerned,so he accepts that he dropped a right bollock.

I just hope that Phil has learned a valuable lesson here. That you have to abide by the rules laid down by the manager. Whether club or country, as well as that laid down by the government of a country.

I agree with everything you said fella (especially the JT quote) I was just latching onto the David stuff to highlight nobody is perfect & what better way than a club legend who seemingly lived as a monk but also had a few scrapes. On the captains issue, due you prefer the English type one man, run through a brick wall, ball & shout captain? Or the Pep/continental approach of several Captains? Might explain why David was chosen amongst others (disregarding it was his last season) It’s more than just leadership on the pitch nowadays, I don’t think we can expect one man to captain 25-30 pros just the same as Pep has a large team around him, as others have alluded too there seems to be a large gap in that area after Vinny & Dave
Honestly I would say it depends on the team and the make-up of the team. With regards City and indeed Chelsea for that matter it's not that a continental style can't work it's the fact that there was a hole that needed replacing and I think going from one style to another is hard and takes time, add to that some luck, if City had walked off with the Champions League this year everyone would have said what a great move it was...

You know what? The more I think about it, the less I give a shit about where Foden stands with Southgate.

I'm only bothered about what Guardiola thinks about his City position and I don't think Guardiola will be overly bothered outside of the quarantine situation.

He'll note that Foden is young, but ultimately not punish him for making mistakes, here and there.
