Diversity complaints

i get very confused by all this talk, ive seen gammon on tinterweb loads of times but never heard it in real life, i was actually told what it meant but i cant remember, same as a karen wtf does that mean, and one poor sensitive soul actually changed her bluemoon name because of it,all very confusing this new speak

I doubt you would hear it in real life as it would probably be followed by the person using it getting a punch in the throat.

*sorry for the use of a full stop in case it offends someone.

BGT is awful, just for that they deserve to have the show to get complaints!!

the show didn't get complaints, this 1 dance by Diversity did.

Has to be said though if I didn't see that it had had complaints I would never have seen the dance. which I really like.

00000000000000000.1% of the population have complained and most only after they’ve heard some people have complained.
don’t let the media get your knickers in a twist

For some reason fighting racial injustice is left wing these days.

It is true to say that the right has never fought it.

Every progressive movement, the abolition of slavery, women's suffrage, the welfare state, the abortion act, have all stemmed from the liberal/socialist progressive side of politics.

Perhaps the one exception is the decriminalisation of homosexuality, that battle was won on the playing fields of Eton. Even today, it is one of the few pieces of progressive legislation that was way ahead of public opinion.

If you restricted yourself to mime it would be much appreciated.

it is nothing to do with being on the left ffs

You're right it hasn't, the right wing seek to make it so.

BLM are trying to change mainstream public opinion, to gain wider acceptance that change is necessary, so they have to bring the campaign in to the mainstream, hence this dance routine, hence taking the knee at sporting events and so on.

Right wingers like this fella.....
The amount of moaning the left brigade do about every possible perceived injustice and the faux outrage it causes in the media... it's no surprise there are reactionary complaints to a deliberately provocative routine.

Seek to prevent this. They don't want BLM to have broad acceptance, they pigeonhole it on every occasion.

RabidCity's post is a perfect example of this, almost a word perfect bot.

First it trivialises the issue with the word "moaning", then it sets out to catagorise and subvert BLM as a concern only for the "left brigade" and therefore of no concern for the great British public. Then it lumps the issue with all the other "perceived injustice" thereby losing its unique message, then it questions the sincerity of the BLM movement and the "faux outrage" thereby implying that the feelings expressed are not real, they are fake, the dance routine a sham, designed for media hoo-ha and not for us.

Then it ends with a justification of the "complaints" on the grounds that this routine was deliberately "provocative". It doesn't go in to any detail whatsoever as to what was provocative about it and who it provoked (as is the case in all dog whistles), but the use of the word "reactionary" leaves us in no doubt that RabidCity believes the provoked were the silent majority, who's sensibilities on this occasion were so offended, they broke their silence and were convulsed to reply!

Silent majority is right speak, it's a handy shorthand because being silent you can ascribe whatever you like to it, but there is one constant, in the west it always stands for white majority.

RabidCity's post is a perfect nugget of right wing shit.
