He could’ve added that 135 people have been killed at LFC matches including 39 Italians killed as a result of rioting LFC fans.

LFC were held entirely responsible for these killings and 14 of their fans were found guilty of manslaughter !!

Did the man of the people mention this ?

The arseholes have never been short of arrogance typified by the statement "we belong in the Champions League. " We will never be such a bunch of entitled twunts.

If you're surprised by the tone of this sycophantic puff piece, the 'writer' is our old friend Slimy Simon Stone. Wonder if he could have got a mention in for whatever brand of watches the Rags are flogging from the Megastore.

I genuinely wonder if Ashton and his likes do have to do much work in Terms of media manipulation if this is the standard of reporting. As has been said before it's all about keeping your core audience happy!

Carney pops up on the BBC listing as well with Liverpool-City.

13 for Liverpool (but more 3rds than for City)
11 for City (and more 2nds - everyone has City in the top 2)
1 - Chris Waddle for Utd. He's obviously had a bad summer!

Adding up scores (4 pts for 1st, 1 pt for 4th) had City a couple of points ahead.

Basically they're saying it's a toss-up.
