Are these clubs losing money because a lot of young talent is brought from the academies and not through feeder clubs, I can remember Crewe doing well out of producing players years back.

To be honest on this business model we are on small clubs don't matter, hell it doesn't even matter if we have English players playing in our teams, why should football cater for smaller clubs when the bigger clubs just go abroad and buy whoever they need.

Covid is the final nail in the coffin for the stalwarts.
 
On a more optimistic note, Macclesfield will reform debt free and gain possession of Moss Rose again. Chester, Halifax, Hereford, Scarborough, Bury... All doing it.

Very sad, nevertheless.
 
Like a long suffering pet finally put out of it’s misery. Sad for the supporters I doubt there is the enthusiasm for a phoenix club like Bury
