Watching his highlights (usual caveats) I could see him being a Fernandinho type DM if moved there. Good at nicking the ball, can spot danger etc.
Maybe signing him this summer and - if DM is still an issue - Upamecano next summer could work out well

As much as i love Koulibaly, if we had a chance of signing Kounde, he would definitely be my first choice.

He looks the real deal. He is going to become one of the best defenders in the world very, very shortly.
