Barca fans are not happy about this, class player would fit in well, Garcia swap seems too obvious to me

He's basically their Foden. The fans absolutely love him, he's the best midfielder on the pitch when he plays, but got stuck behind old dead wood earning 300+k/w in Vidal, Rakitic, Coutinho.

I'm not sure if we would go for him but he's looked like an absolutely top player when I've seen him and its pretty shocking they are selling him even with their financial problems. Although they did also try to sell coutinho, Suarez, Vidal, griezmann, Dembele, Semedo etc. With no takers so I guess they're getting desperate.

He's an energetic young creative midfielder who would make a great addition to our squad. Year left on his deal, just like Garcia. Swap makes a world of sense if they want rid.

Its too bad we aren't in the market for another midfilder. Riqui Puig is appparently not in Koeman's plans

Leaving the negativity vs positivity debate aside, what are your thoughts on the long term replacement for Aguero?
The bar set by him has been so high that I think only 2 guys - Haaland and Felix will be able to match the hype. Personally, I would love to see Haaland but was distraught to see so many people calling it a 'dream' or 'unrealistic' over here and on Twitter. Heard that Torres can cross the ball well and I would love to see some headed goals. The best part is he's a blue and has been on City supporter pages until people figured out it was him.
Haaland or Mbappe are the best at the moment out there. Not sure dealing with Haaland agent or PSG will be easy for us.

His contract ends in a year, they are in deep financial trouble and they are gonna loan him?

He'd presumably sign a new contract before going on loan.

If I was Puig, that's what I'd do. Koeman would be long gone by the time he gets back.

Looking how Koeman's Netherlands played and his comments it seems he wants to turn Barca into some Liverpool mock. Puig is physically not strong enough for that kind of play.

Koeman is doomed to fail... La Masia has been set up to produce technical possession based players and turning the main team into a different direction will not end well for him.

Primarily yes but that doesnt mean he wont play games in other positions...we could well see Laporte and Ake on the pitch together with Ake at left back or both in some form of back 3

the right sided centre half is important - though I do feel people are righting John Stones off too soon. He has been poor for 12 months and somethings are clearly not right but he has the quality there if we can tap back into it.

The signing of Torres again as he can play left and right (though I belive the player himself prefers the right hand side) gives us more options as the one thing he has over Sane is that adaptability to play either side (Leroy seemed to only prefer the left) -Now it leads to endless possible combinations considering Raz can pay anywhere across the front 3 and Jesus can also play 2 out of 3 positions. ........then we have Kun as well and not playing him in lower level cup games means less impact on him regarding injuries.

The injuries are only part of Aguero’s problem. Hes quite some way past his best now even when he’s fit.
