I know we do miss a few but that is rather OTT

I wouldn’t say it is OTT considering it is one of the biggest differences between us and Liverpool. The fact is our forwards are extremely wasteful. We were far more clinical in our title winning seasons. We have regressed to the level of Pep’s first season with braindead defending and abysmal finishing. Perhaps Torres and Ake will bring some change but we still need more to adjust the squad.

To be fair if the players lose motivation and don’t respond to his styles and methods then what’s the point in him staying? You can understand the logic

Also if he loses his mojo.

It makes perfect sense, if club & manager trust each other, which they clearly do.
