Little bit of a tangent but the whole “she played for England 100+ times” as an argument for Alex Scott knowing football and being a good pundit is complete shite. Being good at football and understanding football are two entirely different things, and that applies to anybody.

That is often seen where people have played at international level for years often as captain and then are disastrous as managers.

Micha is an absolute gem but we need to diffrenciate between peoples opinions online and actual peoples opinions in everyday life. Thats the problem here. Trolls are just that and no matter what we do as a collective to bring change, trolls will always exist. Anonimity online is the problem. Nobody can be held accountable for what they say online, yet. Only takes a few bad apples to spoil the bunch. Especially when they are anonymous. This applies to more than just racism too. Bullying people to the point of suicide online etc. The first change needs to be online.

It doesn't matter what you say, Carragher getting pelters in the Mail and being called biased for saying how good City were last night.

i think he spoke very well, from the heart. I like him, he also clearly loves his job and has an enthusiasm for the game. He may ramble a bit at times but its getting less so and for me that makes him more human and genuine. I find some of the pundits false and too polished, we know exactly what they are like in real life. Carragher is a prime example, I simply dont believe or trust him on what he says its all for the camera in my opinion.

It's an enormous boost for the club (and us fans) to have a pundit who supports City. And Micah's enthusiasm and smile are infectious.

For some reason, all the other pundits with City connections (Mills, Hinchcliffe, Dixon, etc) all turned out to be quite down on the club. And on the radio, the likes of Fred Eyre - honest though he may be - is always looking for the negatives / pessimistic.

So Micah is a gem - hope he has a long career on TV.

PS: one other person who seems positive about City, is Michael Brown, on the radio ?

As someone with mixed race siblings, the grandson of an Irish immigrant, and the supporter of a team owned by Muslims, and has had numerous people of colour playing for us, some of which we owe a lot to, Kompany and Yaya instantly spring to mind, I feel like this is pretty offensive, but benefit of the doubt, I think you just put your foot in it. Not having a pop or anything, just thought it might be worth mentioning. We're definitely not a 'woke' nation, though.

It's nice to have Micah on telly. He was always a good laugh when he was with us, and should fight our corner a bit. Not had a problem with Alex Scott at all. She seems to have a great grasp on the game.

I remember City playing Leeds at Elland RD, Alex was in goal, he must have had half of Fifes UK banana stock thrown at him, frightening but in those days it was accepted.

I understood it was because Kendall didnt rate him and brought in his own man Neil Poynton Hinchliffe went to Everton but unfortunately so did Kendall which was hardly Citys fault.
Having said that Swales was a twat for treating players like shit when he wanted to make money .

Spot-on. Whatever we may think of Liverpool's fanbase. If they win the Premier League this season (back to back) after winning the Champions League (and finishing second to us with 98 points) they would have to be considered as one of the best English teams of all time. If we win the Champions League this season then we would also have to be in that debate. We are lucky to be able to watch such fantastic football. Micah is a breath of fresh air because he tells the truth and can rise above his own club loyalties unlike most of the biased pundits.
