IPTV

Mines been awful since the weekend. Has anybody else had the same issues?
There was a court order that's been issued to Sky and other ISP's which resulted in them rolling out a new wave of coordinated blocks at the weekend that went after high traffic hence the big major blocks and some still blocked.
You should be ok if you use a VPN.
If you switch on a VPN you will get your channels as your suppliers server is working normally and your ISP won't know you are connecting to them.

Yes mate the supplier said sky are the main instigators behind it. I tried to watch us last night with a vpn on sky broadband and it was unwatchable but my dad who's on virgin broadband said it didn't miss a beat. Hopefully be a fix soon.

How long before they get Onto the VPNs? I couldn’t get a game the first weekend, bought a vpn and have had no problem since

I’m the same, got a firestick but don’t really understand this iptv stuff
Me neither. I watch grainy streams on ancient apps that must be a decade out of date.

I’m that far behind I thought IPTV was a kind of tele you bought.

Not a clue, wouldn’t know where to start!

IPTV stands for Internet Protocol television.
So any streamed tv channel over the internet.
Netflix, Amazon Prime, Kodi etc is IPTV.
So is BBC iPlayer.

In the states you can now buy an IPTV telly that doesn't receive free to air channels.
Kodi tv.

So can someone explain to me like the idiot I am.
IPTV does it need to be loaded onto something? Like a fire stick or do boxes come with it on?

how do you know which ones are good and not some scam?

I am asking for a friend, who is also an idiot like you, the same question.

4k firestick is your best option.
As to a provider, I can give you a telegram link to a good one.
I live in the countryside with broadband powered by fieldmice. It probably wouldn't work, but my sons live where there is electricity and everything, so yes please for the link.

...A friend has informed me....
that there are a few issues with IPTV at present with alot of "blocking" going on.
So if you are thinking about it, you may wish to hold your horses
