Well you haven't. I've already said that after evidence has been produced from posters the violence is not exclusive to the left and is obviously coming from the right too. I do still believe larger numbers of the violence are directed at the right at this moment and in the run up to the election. There is no point in me posting links as it will get labelled as far right or non vetted news because it isn't from the mainstream media who are mainly left leaning anyway. Especially the BBC.
Perhaps you need to go back and re-word the quote you made about the violence at rallies being incited solely by the left then, because, in the conversation you were having, there's a mismatch.

My point with the violence (and I won't and never have posted a link to anything regarding that topic, instead choosing to use my own opinion) is this president and his associates are the ones not addressing the issue correctly. All public violence should be treated equally and legislation brought in to handle it if needed, but if you can't see (or choose not to) that the rise in left wing violence is as a result of this government's (and the inability of previous governments too) lack of authority action wrt right-wing extremism, in particular militia-style groups, it is no wonder that others will attack your position. The fact that there are more attackers of Trump (and your position) than defenders is not due to anything said in the media, it is because the majority can see the mismanagement, the evidence, the lies and the water-muddying tactics and have come to the same conclusion. This "Antifa" nonsense is just to cloud the issue, it is typical Trumputin tactics ... if caught doing something blame the other side for the same thing so we get talking about the consequences not the cause.

Anyway, good luck.

The reason I've not edited it is because I'm not shying away from it. It was an error to generalise. I accept that. If I edit it then it just looks like I'm changing things to manipulate peoples perceptions of how posters have responded and what I actually said which is why I won't and haven't. ANTIFA are as much of an issue as far right groups imo. I'll leave it there anyway. Same to you.

The Department for Homeland Security doesn’t agree tbf

I've posted somewhere about scale of #45's fraud and why he's clinging on to the office seat, so let's get that out of the way.

The interesting thing is, as the guy is such a HUGE fraud and loser, how has he managed to bag the biggest seat in the world against the perfect Dems...?

I will offer that capitalism or the perception of its 'strength' has a lot to answer for.

'Snake Oil salesman', indeed...

Yeah as I say, the professionals (FBI and DHS) disagree with you as to which side is the major domestic terrorist threat. What you posted didn’t change that. Do you not read what you link? For a start they predate my link stating that far right groups are considered the major threat.

I have been in many situations where I know someone to be unable to deliver what they promise but have rendered their case forcefully or convincingly enough that they are tasked with delivering. As in general people are averse to admitting they were wrong they just stick with the not so competent incumbent. Basic human nature.

None of the above negates nor detracts from any points you make, just maybe adds another layer.

All I know is that the Dems have had 60 years to make the playing field more even in policy and administration.

Despite the bollocks #45 is, if he talks up his "Platinum Plan" for Black America he has a shot at staying in office, he really has, especially if the Dems can't offer something acceptable/ tangible in opposition.

This is what comes of talking a good game with sermon-like rhetoric and delivering very little at the end from one of your own demographic when power was in their grasp.

If every other Dem politician has been tried, it's going to be better the Devil you know for a few Americans.

Desperation brings this as the dish you have left.

There does have to be a credible alternative or it could be another term...or two, or more than that. I agree.

The tax return story isn’t a surprise, nor really that new. However, there’s a reason Trump didn’t want his returns released. It’s likely only one of two reasons — either his own stated income or asset valuations as reported to his lending institutions are different than what he told the IRS, which of course means he’s committed a felony (bank or tax fraud or both), or he’s colossally embarrassed at the state of his finances relative to the image he portrays.

Or both reasons. I’m going for both reasons.

It is absolutely both and we’ve all known that likely to be true for some time.

Yes. That’s why this isn’t really any kind of bombshell other than the NYT getting one over one him and lighting another fire he has to fight.
I think it is only a bombshell in the sense that a reputable news outlet is now finally publicly analysing his presumably real tax returns (they’ve not even fully completed that analysis) and, depending on how the information conflicts with other private understandings, the implications of it could be considerable for Trump and his businesses.

As you, I, and many others have said over the last few years, there is a reason he did not want these released, and even though anyone paying attention up until now will not be surprised by their content, their merely finally being made public (well, relatively public) is a very big event for many reasons.

Many of us have posted about his fraud and why he is desperate to stay in office at length, mate.

And even though capitalism is itself a sham in many ways, that doesn’t make Trump any less of a ‘Snake Oil salesmen’ — the frauds are not mutually exclusive.

But let’s try to keep this thread about Trump, about Trump, yeah? :-)
