Pep's contract situation | 2 year extension confirmed! (pg1817)

Even though I believe it's a legitimate opinion to feel like his time is drawing to a close (even if I don't agree with that), I do think it's important that we (as in the fans) aren't seen to be pushing him out. It's unclear how things will pan out, but if he or anyone at the club feel like people don't believe in them it could really affect things and not in a good way.

As much as I among others think Pep may go and he's gone a little reserved and is making some brainfarts. Realistically who the bloody hell do we get in to replace him who plays a similar attacking quality style of football and not suffer an even further slide in form while the players acclimatise to a new system? There is no easy solution to all of this and we will have to suffer a slide in quality.
Poch but we would have to get use to a different style

If Pep wants to leave then he should go. He’ll be no good around if his heart isn’t in it. I suspect he still has the hunger though.

I hope he signs a new deal. If people think it is bad now and a new manager will come in with a magic wand and fix things then you need reality check.

New manager with new players and tactics will take time something we are not willing to give pep.

He stood up for the club against Uefa.

He loves the club. Maybe not Barca love granted.

Set us up to play the best football since the formation of the premier league.

He has been significant in recruiting some of the best players to wear the shirt.

The credibility of the project was complete when he signed.

I could do this all day. If any blue wants him gone I am lost for words. Maybe we just want a bit of drama as winning was boring. We are more comfortable as a fan base being in the shit.

Well said. Pep has been (and in my view, continues to be) fantastic for City - not perfect, of course ... but fantastic nonetheless.

Still fancy our chances in any competition we enter, with Pep in charge.

I think Pep is definitely leaving at the end of this year, been a phenomenal manager for us and will be sad to see him go. I really hope if he is leaving there has been talks with Poch to replace him.
I also think Pep is leaving in his pressers he seems disinterested, even bored.
I'm not keen on pochettino he's never won anything and nobody has offered him a job so he's not exactly in demand.
Id actually prefer Brendon Rogers.

I reckon a caretaker manager if he walks mid-way but in any case we could go for someone young like Nagelsmann at the end of the season.

I hope it's not Pochettino in any case.

What’s wrong with Pochettino? He’s a proven manager in the Premier League.

Why does noone want him then ?

Noone? Who’s he? Plenty I know do. Best available candidate.

Just like Pearce, Hughes and Pellegrini, as the manager who replaces the popular one, he won’t get the vocal support / encouragement. It won’t be the done thing to get behind him.
