General transfer rumours

Another reason for our club to change direction in term of fighting back against the prejudice against this club.

The attacks for the other clubs is working as planned, we cannot attract the major sponsors, our players are undervalued etc.

The powers of be at our club must fight back, we deserve respect for our achievements , our owner deserves respect for the club's business model. We are are superbly run club, so why let one and all take the proverbial?

Come on Manchester City Execs, FIGHT BACK, it's long overdue.

Cannot attract major sponsors haha

And how does getting pundits to not say our money is dirty and we spend too much get our players sold for more ?

Our club is belittled in the media and has a very poor image, if you don't think that affects the thinking and commitment of major sponsor deals your having a laugh.

Our young players/squad players don't get the credit and plaudits they should and again has implications when we decide to sell.

I agree that you cannot make people buy your players and I don’t doubt Tixi ability but I do wonder what’s going on

What about Harrison ? Keep loaning him out Leeds would not buy him nor would anyone else yet he has done a lot more than Brewster

What about Angelino again done more than Brewster but no one wants him

How about Tosin had a good season in same league as Brewster no takers

Is it too paranoid to start thinking that, given the cartel-like actions of other clubs to attempt to exclude us from the CL, that there is some sort of horse-trading going on at the richest clubs across Europe not to buy our players thus damaging us financially ?

Moise Kean close to a loan deal from Everton to PSG, according to reports.

If you get Chiesa I think he could well be on a move, maybe next window.
Yes he might leave in the future, he's among the ones who are "for sale" in our squad. I just think it's too late for his transfer this window, considering that it closes tomorrow.

Btw most of us Juve fans wouldn't be too happy if we get Chiesa, especially at the price that Fiorentina are asking and with inflated wages. He's extremely lacking in a number of areas.

Yeah. Apparently, we are going to sign Moise Kean and Danilo Pereira from Porto on loan deals. Not too bad considering our dire situation.

Yet we have possibly the best commercial deals around

And do you really think scouts listen to what Mark Lawrence says for example

We do seem to struggle to sell some players but then we seem to do very well on others Unal iheanacho Garcia Navas and Nalito I think maybe for example

Sponsors pay for exposure success access and to be associate with great football we provide that

Presumably the players who do not get the credit they deserve are the squad and youth players as you suggest so maybe Angelino Zinchenko Garcia Gundagon Cancelo ? All the ones people on here have been saying are crap

KDB is getting lots of plaudits Iheanacho got a lot so did Delph so has Bernardo so has Walker so has Jesus Augero we have had recent praise for Delap

I think generally people go from one extreme to another about players qualities but that’s the nature of people and highlights

The best commercial deals? please tell me who they are, Abu Dhabi companies apart.

Puma a decent kit deal , after years of a very undervalued Umbro/Nike Deal.

Nexan, Hays, Nissan all have some form of link to Abu Dhabi I believe.

We have actively sought to find a new shirt sponsor , yet have struggled and the latest rumours are that Etihad will renew.

Our club is one of the best run football clubs in the world, yet the media are allowed to continue to destroy our reputation, I just find it very strange that the club continues to allow this.

We have the second biggest commercial income in the league and one of the biggest in the world

Most of our sponsors are not from the UAE

We believe Nissan is one of the biggest Auto sponsorship deals have one the biggest shirt deals one the biggest kit deals a good sleeve deal

Your sounding a bit like the Rags all are deals are only big because they want to get in with our owners loads of back handers going on etc etc

Can we not hire Bobby Manc in a consultancy capacity regards transfers.

I bet he could find us a couple of reasonably priced rough diamonds to shine up.

He wasn't in charge of transfers when he was here, and we mostly spent large sums of money on proven players like World Cup winner David Silva, Champions League winner Yaya Touré, Bundesliga winner/top scorer Edin Džeko etc.

Very few "rough diamonds" required pre-FFP.

Saw this earlier. Has to be a joke surely
Chelsea are reported to have turned down an offer for Callum Hudson-Odoi from Bayern Munich that could be worth £70million
