All their front players can play down the middle and well, ours can't, as we witnessed yesterday, Mahrez was patheticWell if you’re including the wide forwards we don’t have 2 do we. Sterling scored plenty last season and is on 3 this.

4/5 on the last count
Salah, Jaws, Joda, Mane and the Belgium dude Ogi
All 5 can play wide or down the middle
Mahrez and Sterling useless down the center
Yes right, without getting into a debate on which players can do what, you said we had 2 then go on to move the goalposts for liverpool to include all their forward players to make 5. It’s almost like yougo out of your way to make them better, and our players hopeless. All their front players can play down the middle and well, ours can't, as we witnessed yesterday, Mahrez was pathetic
We've lost Sane and Aguero/Jesus are injured. We're also off a much shorter pre-season prep period than any other team (except United who are hardly lighting it up themselves). That would impact any team. Let's see how we do as the season progresses, players return and new players like Torres settle in.This team 2 years ago was devastating the way the players were always inter changing positions, especially the front 3, we now seem so rigid and so very predictable.

It's just a random post to make a point, while literally doing the opposite. Maybe we should sign 50 million players as 3rd backup in all positions.Wtf you going on about. They’re not strikers and you know it. And if we had Origi as our back up striker no doubt you would be shouting from the roof tops saying he simply isn’t good enough. Also I mentioned this before; how many out and out strikers do Bayern have ?
Ferny seemed clearly furious at being taken off against Leicester. I disagree we were being overrun at the time. The relative score change speaks for itself, that the change didn't work.We were being overrun well before Fernandinho left. Mahrez off for Delap was worth a try yesterday rather than bringing on Fernandinho who didnt add much. We clearly lasted better than Leeds yesterday and finished the game well on top - having a target in the middle could have paid dividends.
Dinho and Bernardo pretty much brought us back into the game,i'm fairly certain we'd have been beaten if those changes hadn't been made.My main concern is,along with the Mendy conundrum, that it took Pep so long to recognise our issues.Ferny seemed clearly furious at being taken off against Leicester. I also thought Ferny was great when he came on yesterday, one of the reasons we finished the game on top and wrestled the momentum from them. They were on top in the second half until he came on.
Yesterday we had 23 goal attempts but only 2 on target. I agree we should be getting more from Mahrez (and Sterling!).
Which wasn’t the question, but think Jesus is better than Firminho, or Origi.their front players are now better than ours, only Sterling would get near their side.
Its not blame as such but certainly worth taking into consideration.
Always good to have a bit of context to what's happening on the pitch
Jesus better than Origi without question, Firmino debatable, and to be honest, not keen and think both are overrated.Which wasn’t the question, but think Jesus is better than Firminho, or Origi.
Let's hope Pep gives Bernardo the place in the team he deserves and the team need the energy and passion he brings. We've lost Sane and Aguero/Jesus are injured. I personally think Bernardo coming back is going to be a major turning point. You saw signs in his cameo yesterday - he has the energy we have been missing.
Of course he was furious - who likes being hooked? I suggest you go back and look at the Match Thread around the time of the substitution. It's not a perfect barometer as there is a lot of hyper-ventilating there, but it reflects the general sentiment of the game and the vast majority of folks were bellowing for Fernandinho to be taken off. Leicester's goals came from schoolboy defending by our back 4. Which one of those would Fernandinho have prevented?Ferny seemed clearly furious at being taken off against Leicester. The game at that time was bypassing Fern, he was rightfully taken off.Of course he was furious - who likes being hooked? Assuming Jesus stays fit, I think you will see he is clearly above Firmino by about mid season. He's also 6 years younger. I know which one I would want in our squad.Jesus better than Origi without question, Firmino debatable, and to be honest, not keen and think both are overrated.
All about opinions, Jesus great back up, but to me not good enough to be a long term Kun replacement.Assuming Jesus stays fit, I think you will see he is clearly above Firmino by about mid season. He's also 6 years younger. I know which one I would want in our squad.
