GD is going to make a difference for Europa qualification as well. So Pep needs to pack the defense and not let them run up a score.

We have 3 games before liverpool clash: Arsenal, Westham, Sheff Utd
Should get 9 points and then a win aganist liverpool in etihad could close the gap
Return of Jesus and Gundogan could boost city a lot. we should take advantage of bernardo and give him more minutes. Torres and Foden aren't good enough yet. Especially Foden. He is too much average to replace Silva.
hopefully we have 3 average rivals in ucl so we should concentrate on league fixtures.

We're too focused on how poor this team is at defending that it's kind of lost on how shit we've been at getting goals so far this season.

The state of this ... injured what? His arse while sitting on the massage table?

So Alisson rests for two weeks ... and Ederson goes round the world playing three games in 10 days ...

Its very convenient timing

Liverpool are 2-0 down. If this doesn't inspire Pep and this team nothing will.( They can/will still win 4-2)
Scousers are vulnerable this season. The team should smell blood. A solid showing against arsenal can bring our season back on track

If we dont win this after seeing Spurs putting 6 past United and Villa trashing Liverpool, that will be criminal.

Pep needs to find his mojo in the break and get City back on track starting with the Arsenal game.

Liverpool losing 7-2 to Villa (as it stands, could get worse) is all the motivation we need to reset and restart our season ... C’mon City ... well and truly in the title race still ;)

Right, we've seen what can happen, we need to just go for these, full on direct attack and aggression, fucking smash the Arses.

We really need to win this game and certainly not lose it.

Ederson
Walker
Dias
Laporte
Cancelo if fit (Ake if not)
Fernandinho
Gundogan
KDB
Bernado
Sterling
Jesus

We win against Arsenal, we win the league. It's all about momentum and the dippers have crashed and burnt and while they get up we need to be soaring ahead.

frankly if this absolute nightmare for united and liverpool today doesn't motivate our players, nothing will

Oh no, it's gone, don't you know? People were saying so on the post-match Leeds thread, so it must be true. We win against Arsenal and we're two points behind. Impossible to overhaul that lead with only seven months or so of the season to go. Let's get real.
Two points behind Liverpool ... Everton might be 5 points ahead

As Jesus is injured does he stay here and miss the internationals for Brazil?

Hope he's back for the Arsenal match.
