Adarabioyo joins Fulham on permanent deal

Good luck Tosin. A better defender than Garcia and yes, Tosin can pass the ball. It's disgraceful that he didn't get as many chances. The transfer fee is pitiful even with the 20% sell on clause.

The amount of CH's we sign for a fortune who aren't given a proper chance to settle or just obviously are not suitable...all for high £M's & then we give Tosin away for low £M's and errr don't give him a chance. We'll never know about suitability but I doubt he'd go hiding in games FFS.

We do have a fair few scattered around the leagues/Europe - many doing very, very well.I doubt any other club has such a poor record in this department.

Txiki and Omar aren’t very good.

Lots if business speak about projects and visions and developing all these other club/players

The woman at Chelsea and the guy at Liverpool run rings round them in terms of getting there top targets and getting value on buys/sales

Fair play tosin wanted a move to establish himself and wish him all the luck in the world. Hopeful we have a buy back and he sets the world on fire. But if I'm being honest I feel like this signing is Fulham preparing in case they go down hope I'm wrong and he gets plenty of minutes this season.

We are not a selling club, while Liverpool operate and rely on buying players on the basis of outgoing sales. Whether his development wasn't good enough, or he deserved a chance at City is entirely different. He wanted a permanent move, and it's the only club who came with the offer, so off he went, being in the final year of his contract, and with a total of 1 good season in Championship under his belt at the age of 23. You cannot expect more, maybe only if he stayed around the squad longer and proved his quality, wasn't the case. I like him, but maybe it is for the best.

Okay, guess somebody will notice one day and sack them, until then we'll just bumble along being rubbish.

Some notable moaners on here are the same ones that demanded we sign a CB all summer and also demanded we held out for £20m for Garcia. Well we did sign a CB and we did hold out with Garcia and that is why Tosin was never going to get a game and we had to take the best offer we got.

In retrospect - we should have sold Garcia for the £15ish that was offered. If it was me I would not have bought Dias and would have convinced Tosin to stay - but hopefully I will be proved wrong.

is there a chance we might be selling him on the cheap to hopefully buy him back as Stones replacement ? I think stone will come good but I think we need to move him on How would that affect THB I guess it would be fine as we will also have Garcia leaving I also wonder if THB will need a loan at some point for his development especially as he is a CB but that should probably have been this year

Also people keep saying we are selling Harrison and Angelino cheap because of the options and obligations but do we have to sell at those prices ?

And got who instead of Dias ? And convinced Tosin to stay how ?

The way I see it is that he chose to leave permanently a couple of weeks ago. We've aqcuiesced and done him a favour by finding him a move before the deadline because he's been professional about the whole situation and has been a good servant to the club since he was a kid.

People can moan about the fee in relation to others as much as they want but he was hardly a hot commodity and that's shown by the fact that he's ended up at the worst team in the league. If he turns out to be a rock for them then we have a sell on clause and I guess there's the chance we go back for him.

I'm just glad he's got his move and I sincerely hope he seizes his chance with both hands. We can't force clubs to buy players and it would be a shame for him to spend the next year sat in the stands.

Ah yes, you only need to look at the Chelsea defence and admire their recruitment.
And dont forget the plethora of midfielders they have managed to offload because they are deemed not good enough. And jorginho who at 70 mil is surplus now.
A 70 million goal keeper who is a great back up now.
Yes I see where you are coming from.

More chance of Sharon Stone coming good!; )

How many would you take back as good enough for our side today?

We sold Savic, Denayer etc because they were not good enough for us at the time and showed no form to show they would be - Denayer could not even get into the teams he was loaned to (bar Celtic). If we had kept them they may not have got the games they have had to be able to develop to have the form they have today.

Well, to be fair. The lad finally managed a good season in Championship at 22 years of age. Football is ruthless these days, you either are top level or not. We bought in players under Guardiola that have value and quality which he doesn't match, and he was never going to suddenly become the player we'd hoped. As terrible as this deal is, I'm happy it's just not another loan and he's moved on to play within Prem and prove himself. He was never going to make it at City.
Matter of opinion. He did well in other years as well. He can't have done worse than Garcia did v Lyon and Leicester...if he'd been given a chance.
