90's Dance & Old Skool Classics

I used to do some bedroom DJ-ing, and then through working overseas and taking my decks/vinyl, got to DJ at some unbelievable events. Highlight was a rave on an island off Nigeria in 99, where we set up the decks and massive speakers on a 40’ flatbed and about 400 people turned up. Surreal doesn’t do it justice. I am claiming to be the first person to DJ at a rave in Nigeria until someone can prove otherwise!!

Couldn’t do a live stream, but good luck with it. Wife and kids take up my Saturday evenings. The wife would probably have me sectioned if I told her I was taking a night off from watching TV and drinking wine to go and live stream a DJ gig!!

;-)

Can't you spike the wife? Not only will you get a night on the deck, but you will also get laid at the end of it.

Already been posted earlier, but can never be over posted. An incredible record to hear for the first time in a sweat box club with smoke and lasers going (even without the ‘benefit’ of drugs).

Sorry, it's hard to check all the previous posts to ensure no duplicates. I listened to this yesterday for the first time in about 15 years and it still sounds as good. It's mad how a record to transport you back in time, I felt like I was back in the early 90's.

I could sit there all day posting tunes mate.

How many dj's do we have on here? Would anyone be interested doing a live stream? Seems the pubs are going to be shutting. Be good to bust a few tunea, with a few beers, on a Saturday night.
I had decks as a teenager - mid to late 90's. I put together some incredible sets that no one ever heard.

I had a diverse interest - was into everything from hip hop and full on jungle to Sasha style ambient house (too much to be honest). Was well into the deep house / Techno / big beat type stuff (Chemical Brothers / Underworld / Carl Cox / Derrick May / Slam / anything on Junior Boys Own). That deep dark style seemed to be short lived as trance exploded late 90s. Bought vinyl in Picadilly Records and Eastern Block - I also did a bit of my own stuff and still have an account with Audiotool.

wack em on here , don’t be shy.

I haven't had a working mixer / set of decks in about 20 years.

Would love to though, there is nothing as therapeutic as beat mixing house music on vinyl with a decent and loud stereo system.

Well here is my set up. I don't have much, but I have a quality collection of old skool vinyl.
All your worries melt away when in the mix.
