Going to be a tough test this one. Arsenal going to set up in the exact same manner as the FA Cup Semi Final, Sit deep and compact and look for counter attacks.
First goal in this is massive, If we get it Arsenal game plan completely changes.

To be fair we've played a game less than most teams ...

Those figures look wrong. We created more "big chances" against Leeds than they credit us for in the season so far. I don't trust them at all.

ok well we have different views on that as he played very well at centre half considering he was playing well out of position. Those thing you mention particularly about tackling and judgement are slightly different when playing in midfield and centre half...for instance, less one vs one scenarios in midfield than at centre half and often facing the oncoming attacker - whereas in midfield its more condensed, can be more about nicking the ball than one vs ones and different anticipation.
His pace doesnt looked to have dropped off for me at all (but maybe he was against generally quicker players than he faces in midfield - you are going to look slower when chasing Salah, Mane Rashford etc, more so than against your average midfielder- he was never lightening quick but his mobility (which is not all about pace) still looks better than Rodri who has the turning circle of the titanic and once beaten doesnt even get close t

Id say most games he was our better centre half....certainly better than ottomendi and some of stones more recenr performances as well and thats pretty good going considering he was playing out of position.

His fitness is without question...what he cannt do is recovee sufficiently to play every 3 days.

Fotrunately pep and 6xixi shared mine and othrrs views by renewing his cintract and also binning not only otamendi but also tosin amd choosing to keep ferna instead...and tgen also playing him alongside rodri to try and solve the issue we clearly have

If Aguero and Jesus aren’t fit it might be worth it to line up 442 like against Madrid. Try to create chances in transition rather than from possession.

Why won’t Sergio and gabby be available? Sergio had a couple of weeks of fitness work and now will be having 2 full weeks of full training with the first team squad and pep at the CFA? Gabby was training anyway before the break wasn’t he but the last match came too soon to play?

You asked where he was the better/dominant of our centre half last season - I answered in most games

ID say he is equally qualifed as Rodri to be the onyl CDM - however ideally id have someone completely different which would mean dipping into the transfer market
