I hope this is bullshit because I'd like to think that we'd still make the effort to sign him, even if we later call it off because the fees get out of hand. The idea of Txiki letting the opportunity pass simply because he doesn't want to deal with Raiola is pretty pathetic.
It's a report from August 2019. A lot would have changed between August 2019 and summer of 2021 .

Mino is not a easy man to deal with. He charges a lot of money from clubs and doesn't hesitate to slander the club/manager in media if his players doesn't get their way.. Jorge Mendes is far ahead and more professional than mino. Recent Example , he helped us sell otamendi convinced him to join benfica and get Dias to city from benfica. Anyway We will see how this plays out.

This is where we’ll do the reverse of the Koulibaly deal. Only negotiate with the club and refuse to deal with the agent.

What problems were there with Ibrahimovic?

No one was upset by him leaving Ajax for Inter.
Inter willingly sold him to Barcelona in return for Eto'o.
Barcelona/Pep sold him to Milan even though he wanted to stay.
Milan told him they wanted to keep him but PSG were offering so much money...
PSG let him go.

The only time he fell out with a club was when he refused to got to Serie B with Juventus after their cheating scandal, and they got a fair price for him in understandable circumstances.

You need to stop regurgitating the myths around Mino Raiola. Yes he's a bit abrasive, yes, he and Pep don't love each other, but business is business and an agent doesn't have half the power you think he does.
Aguero's replacement is going to be a longer term signing. Haaland isn't going to be that player and his agent is a major problem, especially with contract renewals. Delap will match Haaland's achievements.

You don't either

No, and I haven't said I do.

You however have ignored all the evidence to pretend you know about Raiola and Haaland and how much they'd ask for, how long they'd be here and if the club would want to go for them anyway.

You're jabbering on about how he can't be long term despite the fact multiple times in this thread it's been shown to you that plenty of Raiola's clients have been at their clubs long term very happily. You're claiming Ibrahimovic had loads of problems with his clubs when it's bollocks.

It's not just making shit up, it's ignoring strong evidence to the contrary to make shit up.

We probably won’t even go in for him.

Aguero’s successor will be someone you’ve barely heard of, averaging 15 goals a season and capped at a £65 million transfer fee even in the event of no release clauses.
Its going to be an auction for Haaland something City rarely gets involved in.

Mino represents his clients. He looks after his players interests and he does that extremely well. That doesn’t mean he will constantly take his player elsewhere. If we satisfy their demands he will stay, and if Haaland continues his trajectory he will be worth every penny.
