I’m looking forward to the game. For the first time in some years, I feel we are in with a better chance of getting something from the game though that doesn’t mean I’m particularly confident. It is City after all and you are a better team than us, even though we are improving. I’m really pleased Tierney has been cleared to play as he’s so important to us. It will be interesting to see the tactics adopted by both teams which after the international break will depend upon availability of key players. I suspect Arteta will go 3-4-3 to start with in the hope of quick counter attacks through Willian and Aubameyang to threaten City’s goal.

Obviously City are favourites to win (Betfair odds 1/2 City, 4/1 draw, Arsenal 11/2) but hoping we get something from the game.

For the most part I think they might play counter attacking game and wait for spaces to open up unless we go with a slightly Conservative approach which might force them to take more chances then they would ideally prefer

You should be looking forward to it,we are missing our best midfielder and leader,along with our strikers.Other players are returning from injury or out of form.

Other than that,we are dandy!
 
Arsenal will play very defensively and barely touch the ball for the first 25 mins. We will dominate and create multiple chances but not convert. On a breakaway and with their first shot on goal Arsenal will take an undeserved lead............................we all know the rest.

Hope we perform better than that dreadful semi final.
It's unbelievable the injuries were copping for after 5 games in comparison to other teams. I fear we will be 8-10 points behind soon and the title gone if we don't string some wins together, but with a constantly changing xi this is very difficult.
Anyway 1 1 is my prediction.

Couldn't agree more, especially as some were friendly game and the others a pointless competition, should be World Cup, then 2 years later the euros, the summers in-between should be complete player breaks.

I honestly think we are in trouble ......key players out...Arteta knows how Pep ticks....lots of possesion for us and then they pick us off...they did it last time....
