Arteta has been very pragmatic so far, & I think he'll continue to do so. With Gabriel & Partey now I think he'll evolve his system into a more standard 433 formation, but I think this game comes to soon for that so he'll go for the 343 formation that has served him ok.
However, if it was me, I'd be tempted to tweak it slightly & play almost a 352, with Auba & Pepe up front, trying to get in the space between centre back & full back either side.
Would bite your hand off for a draw just now, but unfortunately think you still have too much for us.

This is an incredibly difficult one to call. I can’t think of any coach better suited to identifying our weaknesses than Arteta and with lots of pace on the counter few teams better setup to hurt us than Arsenal. However we have been very good, bar finishing, for the first half of our matches so far. It remains to be seen whether we can maintain that intensity for longer periods. If we can do that then we sh

Without KDB our there are lots of questions as to our midfield 3- Rodri plus 1 of Fernandinho or Gundogan and one of Bernardo or Foden? Or Rodri and both Foden and Bernardo?

Up front is Aguero fit enough to start? If so what does that do to our press? I’m not sure if we can afford to start Aguero and Mahrez as neither press particularly well, Arsenal will try and play through the press and get Aubamayeng/ Lacazette/ Pepe behind our back 4.

Hopefully the match isn’t a ding dong like the Leeds match as Arsenal have much better finishers, whereas we’re still hugely profligate.

Really looking forward to seeing us play after the nonsense of an international break.

FFS should not be near the team. We are not playing collectively good enough to carry players. He does not defend and offers very little threat going forward. I hope he plays foden. We need graft to get us back on form not someone who will lose possession and arsenal spring the counter.

Having watched Arsenals games so far . The press, long and hard is the way to beat them.
They are trying to play a very dangerous game, and do not have the personnel to do it that well.
Press as well as we did against Madrid and we will stifle them.
Would consider Foden, Bernardo, Sterling, and Torres the ones to do that .

Ederson, Walker, Dias, Laporte, Aké, Rodrigo, Bernardo, Foden, Sterling, Torres, Mahrez

1-1

There is something very wrong with our physios or training, it's about time they got to the bottom of it. Surely Pep can see something isn't right he needs to get it sorted quickly, look at the scousers they've played the same team more or less for the last 2 or 3 seasons, we can't even play the same team 2 weeks on the trot.
smacks of sabotage

This is were we miss Gabby, He starts our press and he's brilliant at it. Think we have struggled with our press so far without an out and out centre forward bar the first 30 minutes of Leeds game.

Ederson
Walker Laporte Dias
Cancelo Rodri Bernardo Mendy
Foden Aguero Raheem

Bernardo and Cancelo have key role in this formation.
We need more dynamism in midfield. Bernardo brings too much of it too our play.
With absence of KDB, We should create our formations around Bernardo.
