That's all well and good but Trump's bridge is a single plank, that only reaches half way into the river, but he promises it will end up looking like the Golden Gate, honest. Probably better, as his earlier promises have prov... actually don't look at the earlier promises, but that plank is the best plank.
So, whilst this is true, you have to ask yourself why there are people at his bridge in the first place! Is it seeing the possible platform being built before them as opposed to guessing which plank is going to crack?

I don't know, but there is changing mindset that is growing, that I can see.

When people are asking those that criticise Cube, where the leaders are so Cube didn't have to step up, nobody has any answers.

I find it really interesting where the Black community is, right now. Sharpton was the last of any real note and he was dogged by scandal. That position has been left empty since.

Dr West doesn't want the weight solely and I get that. So it's a waiting game and, therefore, infighting on direction.

As per usual.

That's really a poor argument. The fact that there's a following doesn't mean that option is the best one or the right one. If no voters were choosing the worse option they'd obviously all vote for the same candidate. No candidate is perfect but there's bad and there's worse.

The fact that you can imagine the reasons why some people would go with Trump doesn't mean they're good enough reasons for him to be president again.

Trust me, if you go down the rabbit hole with this guy, you’ll find yourself wearing out the letters on the keyboard that spell out “That’s a really poor argument.”

There are other tools on here offering their opinions on this situation, with non explanations as to why Black people are economically at the bottom of the ladder. You know, a particular one that works for Wall St, for example.

None of these type can explain why this is. Why this type of demographic pays, on average 30% more in insurance than their White counterparts in similar homes. There's been 60 years+ to rectify this known situation and yet, only come elections do promises get wheeled out only for them not to be revisited and more people are getting fed up of it.

How do I know this? Because I have dialogue with my US compatriots.

So, taking that into account, people are wondering maybe the Dems aren't the be all as they were led to believe. It's horrible to think maybe it's time to look elsewhere, but that's what desperation brings.

And this is where the phrase "both the same" comes from. No change for the lower classes unpinning the main unwanted work of society as highlighted by the pandemic, for example.

It's not nice to longer trust the people that have constantly broken promises.

Of course, there are some that view Black and working class issues as "rabbit holes" and I think they're scum to do so.

Trump has already been president 4 years. I don't think he's done much for black people. Biden has never been president before. Now why anyone would think that Trump is a new hope for the black community and Biden is the same ol' oppression story is beyond me. Of course Biden isn't a great candidate, no one is claiming that, but he's certainly a change from Trump.

It's nice of you to report the opinion and reasoning of others, black americans I think in this case, but who would you vote for and why?

And I think, this is the issue that people conflate.

The candidates are the individuals themselves and we could separate the issue about them, entirely. But, that discussion moves to the parties which they represent, which is why Black voters are starting to question.

There's always an excuse made for sticking with 'xx' party.

As politicians go, one has been one for 4 years and the other for 47 years. I'm not sure you want to use this argument. One has been attached to serving in a government a few times, one has served in one once. I'm not sure you want to use that argument.

As parties go, both have had chances to serve a disaffected demographic since the 40s and nothing's happened.

I can't understand why anyone cannot see why 'faith and trust' would start to waiver.

As for me, if I was in the same situation, I guess i would be doing the same as Cube, trying to see which party would ACTUALLY make progress for my demographic or just not fucking vote as, at the bottom line, nothing fucking changes no matter which party is in charge.

And it has a toll booth at the start.

Right now it appears Biden’s support among Black Americans is running near 90 percent and it looks like turn out is going to be record among Black Americans and effectively every other demographic. Apparently the “disaffected” aren’t going to be as disaffected this time around.

Just a guess, but it may be that Americans generally don’t care for a person who is a proven liar, a criminal, doesn’t know shit about America, doesn’t know shit about Americans, doesn’t care about America, feels so sorry for himself he can’t think straight, is so blatantly insecure he’s a psychologist’s dream and is basically an utter dick.

I hope that proves to be the case but was all that not known amongst Americans last time they voted?

Just noting your location I would imagine the voting choices in that area are a lot different to the places which voted him in last time.

It should have been. But plenty got fooled, and Clinton isn’t running. After this four year-long car crash, plenty won’t get fooled this time. And there is zero complacency among Democrats — I mean nothing. EVERYONE is voting.

I’m pretty right wing for out here. This year there aren’t any choices. I won’t vote GOP for the foreseeable future after the party sold out the nation, and especially after the fake ballot boxes the California GOP admitted it installed all over the state. There will be people that go to jail for that.

“These people aren’t American. They just want power. Like in their own countries”

Trump might as well have burning crosses behind him at his latest rally.
