2 more injuries picked up in training when there’s been a skeleton squad so training shouldn’t even have been that intense. We really should be looking into this more, we get a disproportionate amount of training ground injuries we surely can do things better to limit that.

Laporte and mendy being out isn’t a disaster with Ake and Cancelo ready to step in but it leaves us very light on reinforcements. Expected Gundogan and Fernandinho in midfield but will be interesting to see what we’re like with both Bernardo and Foden buzzing around the middle should provide us with the energy we’ve been sorely lacking and with no Kdb for everyone to rely on players need to take responsibility, hopefully we will see a more fluid attack as it’s become incredibly rigid and obvious so far.

no but it could be the training method & intensity - or bad luck. But can’t see how medical staff can be the cause of injuries.
They may be responsible for not getting g them better quicker - but that’s debatable
Good medical staff can minimise the risk of injuries absolutely.

For example when we had Dr Batty under Mancini we barely had major injuries. It all started when Batty was sacked as Mancini did not like him.

Rodri as the single defensive midfielder mean that bernardo and foden need to work ver hard to either press or work back defensively along with the front 3

Mendy injured again should be the death knell for uis career with us...shocking player when on the pitch and not reliable injury wise...we need to cut our losses

Pep surely needs to address this issue. I believe it’s a common theme amongst his squad to get these muscle injuries frequently

Good to see Aguero back but himself and Mahrez will need to put in a decent pressing shift. They’re often our worst pressing forwards so the concern is that Arsenal will get time to put balls in behind our back 4. As a result Foden and Bernardo will need work really hard without the ball.

Do we?, I mean we might, but I honestly don’t take much notice of other teams injuries and where they occur to compare. Though I would expect the club employ people that do and over the years would change things if there were problems.
