He is right but we will be there if we have a solid defence. It will buy us some time to find that form

That’s because it wasn’t a foul and wasn’t a pen. Also going on about arsenals missed 3 chances, that was all they had all game. City had some decent chances as well to win the game comfortably but they aren’t even being mentioned.
 
This season will be so so different from any we have all experienced before.
No one will go on a long unbeaten run , in fact more like it used to be.
There's no need to panic about lost points I get the feeling the club is gearing up for a slow steady progression this season.
I think we will win it.
 
Great performance. Dias looks like the centre half that we've been missing. Hopefully we're getting what we've paid for, but looks very, very promising after just two games. Ake and Walker both excellent. Liked the look of Cancello further up the park. Welcome back Bubblegum too; Bernardo looked great particularly in the first half; a bit less influential in the second. Bring back Laporte and Kev, a bit more match fitness and we're going to be a handful for anyone, again.
 
A huge three point, not pretty but I couldn't care less. Arsenal are going to be back competing at the top table very soyn if not this season. I am impressed with the job Arteta is doing and their signings.

For us it's the usual story of injuries to key men stuttering us a bit. We have had no training sessions to get new players up to speed due to the ridiculous international breaks.

For me I'm not sure we will win the title this season, if we stay in touch, get....and keep everyone fit, who knows? There are a few players who when they are in our first eleven I just don't feel they are at the level of our first eleven of couple of season's ago. For me we still need a top DM, creative midfield player, striker and left back. Onwards and upwards.
 
Haven’t read this thread so here’s my opinion on the blind from general opinion.

I take great hope out of that 1-0 win.
It’s something bee haven’t been capable of doing for quite a while.

We are not free scoring and probably don’t currently have the personnel to be. Not for a good while I fear, but that can change with confidence growing through out the team.
Great confidence will be taken from a solid set up at the back and I think already the signs are good that Dias and Ake will prove good additions.

Foden needs to get his concentration levels up in my opinion but there is no doubting his ability. Bernie looks like he’s up to the task again.
Don’t say it often so I’ll say it now, Mahrez looked hood today. Still drives me crazy with the losing of the 50/50 balls and wimping out of the defensive side of things, but credit where it’s due. He did alright.

Thought Sergio looked good all things considered.
Cancelo looked decent.
Sterling drives me crazy too. But he scored. He does score. He is always there.

Eddie has saved us in several matches now in one on one situations.

I take nothing but positives out of today. Build a defence that doesn’t leak like we used to and there is no telling what we could do in what is essentially a rebuild season.
 
All Agüero cuntfuckery aside, I thought that was a decent performance against a decent Arse. And without our best player. Good energy levels, 3 points, Bernie looking back to something like, Kun back on the pitch, ffs Mahrez putting a shift in, what’s not to like? Another 30 points and we should be safe ;)
 


This. 90 mins of consistency needed. But I am positive we will reach it. Till then we need (have) a strong defence to buy us time.
