Porto (h) post-match thread

The stereotypical game of two halves. We were abysmal in the opening 45 minutes. Much better in the second half, particularly when Phil and Ferran came on. We weren't helped by the Coco the Clown impersonator with the whistle and cards. Disappointed to see Fernandinho pick up an injury.

Porto shitbags. Don’t expect any different from them.

pathetic 70 mins which we were somehow winning through set plays then we brought on players who are quick, technical and direct and we looked like a 70 year old who had just supped from the fountain of youth.
foden and Torres on that left side looked fantastic together.

We need to stick with youth where possible this season.
What a difference it made.

Thought Sterling was generally poor but he didn’t get into it until the two youngsters came on and scored and then space opened up.

We are just always strapped by injuries, but if we can win ugly until we get players back I won’t be too upset.

Shite first half. Miles better going forward after the subs. Walker had a great game. Mahrez was poor.

Not much quality until Gundogan's free kick, but played quite well after that. Cracking goal from Torres.

Got the 3 points which is the main thing.

Pepe is a dirty twat. Ref was poor.

Came alive with Foden in midfield instead of Gundogan, Torres left with Raz drifing out to the right. Has to be the tactic going forward. Gundogan and Plodri should never play together again.

Ferran and Foden should start every game.

Fernandinho, hopefully just a short spell on the sidelines.

Really good comeback , probably a bit fortunate to get the free kick for Gundogans goal , but we did, and he scored a beauty ..... we played much better after the break , still sloppy with our passing at times though, quality third goal from Torres to round thngs off ..... five City players booked though , and now we've lost Fernandinho for a few weeks.
