What symptoms do you have? I've done mine today on the advice of my employer.
Started with a cough on Saturday afternoon, had a temp of 38 on Sunday evening (it was only 36.1 Saturday morning when I was checked at work) and today a weird smell and taste. Have still tasted everything I've eaten though.

Hopefully it's just mild. Hope you feel better soon.

They have said this from early days though haven't they, not sure why they are making such big news of it now we are starting to get some positive news about the vaccine. All makes me very suspicious I have to admit.
It could be linked to how important it is for vaccines to boost antibodies that the Oxford vaccine (unofficially) is achieving.

I don’t blame some people being taken in by the herd immunity propaganda but clearly it is a non starter.

News media organisations and espcially the BBC go out of their way to big up bad news. Sensationalist doom mongering headlines grab the attention. Bad news sells. They are more interested in how many clicks they get than the wellfare of the nation. Same as in the any economic downturn, its as if they almost want to talk us into a recession at times.

Not great news in this Story.
There is hope of progress real soon.

Had a quick scan on relevant threads to see if I was about to have my own Titanic put down ( always wanted one really) seen nowt so hear goes.

Been told my three separate people today I have known for donkeys and trust implicitly that senior NHS staff are to prepare for mass vaccine roll out - 2 of the guys said within the next 2 weeks and the other mentioned this side of Xmas .

NHS front line staff and people working in care homes are first on the list.

Just thought I’d share that - thought Trump was electioneering yesterday but he was equally upbeat.

Fucking wonderful news , fingers crossed.

we certainly would have had no hope of winning world war 2 with today’s media.

It is being reported because it is a big study that has just reported something that was thought before but not known across a population.
That's fine but it's rolling news on GMB, Dr Hilary has been interviewed on the same thing twice in less than an hour and it's come through as a news alert on my phone. On the same day that the Oxford vaccine has been reported to produce an antibody response in both of and young, which has not even been mentioned.

Excuse me, I neither deny Covid exists or refuse to wear a mask, in fact I have one in a couple of different coats and one in the car, I also gave hand sanitizer in my car too.
I’m actually a believer that we’re doing more harm than good with closing everything down but as usual if you go against certain people on here you’re drowned out by the mob.
You lot waiting for the vaccine to save you and return to normal what happens when it doesn’t materialise? Keep fucking the economy up for years?
At no point did I say lockdown completely, I actually agree with you that there needs to be a balance as the economy is as important. I am just pissed off that people flaunt the rules or have no self discipline when it comes to wearing a face mask I mean how difficult is it.

ive a feeling its been put out to frighten people to have the vaccine.ill have it by the way.just seems a bit suspicious
With only about 5% of people having antibodies resulting from the virus, possible vaccines were always going to be the biggest show in town.

If it's non stop coverage, I agree it's probably a bit over reported.
I did see a fair bit on the Oxford vaccine personally.
