We live in Wales and are scheduled to fly to Stockholm to see my daughter and new granddaughter. My daughter who had a baby in February, who has a very limited support network and who had had to cope with learning to be a mum in a foreign country during a pandemic and a daughter who understandably needs our support...

Willl BA still be flying? If they are will they still be flying when we're due to return?

What to do eh?

Can we go? If we can should we go?

Would folk in here go? It really us a very hard decision to make.

Any idea on junior football?
From the Guardian

This is not good news for grassroots sport. Gyms, swimming pools and local clubs will all be stopped from next Thursday due to the second national lockdown in England.

While elite sport will continue as normal, exercise for everyone else will be limited to unlimited periods outdoors - either with people from their own households, or on a one-to-one basis with one person from another household.

I understand that discussions remain ongoing over whether people will still be allowed to play golf and tennis as the regulations are still to be drafted.

The situation is also a little unclear for kids’ sport. I am told there will be no exemption for under 18 indoor sport but sport for under-18 team sport is undecided.

Remember remember the 5th of november Boris’s failure has locked us til December He ignored advice, freely given by sage And now the country, incandescent with rage. His crafted popularity taken a deserved hit. Every action has revealed he is a lazy incompetent shit
You’re no John Cooper Clarke.

but a bubble is one household of multiple people linked with one single person, so why can i not take my 4 year odl to see his grandma whilst her demntia still knows who he is?

A bubble counted anyone in my home mixing with just my mum at her home. That is a bubble.

So does it not now?

The gov description of a bubble =

A bubble is defined as a group of people with whom you have close physical contact.

In England, single adults living alone - or single parents whose children are under 18 - can form a support bubble with one other household.

The second household can be of any size and can include "at risk" people who were previously shielding.

Wherever possible, the government recommends that a support bubble should be with another local household to avoid unnecessary travel.

and i guess i will leave my 4 year old alone at home if mum phones me in a panic, i walk to her home , it's 6 minutes walk away. My partner has call outs and isn't always home while working from home.

My mum is ready to kill herself. and i might bloody join her.

There are no family bubbles, only support bubbles for vulnerable people who need care

i think you'll find you're talking rubbish. i suggest you look at the part where the gov explainm what a support bubble is. It's for my fucking b=mother who wishes she was dead, can barely walk, uses a crutch, has dementia, and lives on her own.

People of ANY age actually who live alone can merge with another fucking household of any fucking size.

My questiosn were does that still count in this 4 week lockdown. I wasn't expecting iidiots to act like it beve fucking happened at all.

So to recap then, she can take that overdose tonight, i wont go round, and then i'll just do one in the morning then my son can find my dead body and go into care. That ok for everyone.

Good bye,

Even Corbyn, who I have zero respect for btw, would have managed not to postpone a critically important announcement THREE FUCKING TIMES for no good reason.

National embarrassment this shower of çunts.

True, and I hate the ****.

Can't stand people being late, 5 minutes before rule always applys

Cheers mate. I'll look out for announcements. My lad will be beyond gutted if its stopped - and they're all at school together anyway.

I think you can only travel for essential business.

I'd go if it were me in your shoes.
Take all precautions obvs, but seeing your daughter and grandchild will be a massive morale booster for all concerned.
Plus you get out of wales for a few days ;-)
Good luck mate
