you have been very uplifting on here and I have copied some of your ideas.
Thanks, good that you've tried to make the most of a shit situation, that's all we've done, but it's better than nothing, and in the process we've found some nice places close that we'd never been. As I said we've taken the piss out of our National Trust membership, some really nice places to be outdoors, and nature is good for your health. If you can visit a deciduous forest just now, wonderful.

We call it doggin round ere!

We live in Wales and are scheduled to fly to Stockholm to see my daughter and new granddaughter. My daughter who had a baby in February, who has a very limited support network and who had had to cope with learning to be a mum in a foreign country during a pandemic and a daughter who understandably needs our support...

Willl BA still be flying? If they are will they still be flying when we're due to return?

What to do eh?

Can we go? If we can should we go?

Would folk in here go? It really us a very hard decision to make.
If you can go, I’d go. But I thought I read something about international travel being work purposes only. I think there’ll be more detail when it put to Parliament next week. When are you going?

The real issue is November and december is when small companies make money now they can’t.

march April was Ok as the weather was nice november won’t be.

I would like to see a tax on amazon and deliveroo to pay for this.

they are the winners on lockdown

If you are struggling, you can call for free on 116 123, email jo@samaritans.org or visit www.samaritans.org.

A statement from Samaritans said: "There's no doubt that these uncertain and challenging times have affected the way we go about our daily lives.
"As social restrictions and uncertainty continues, it is essential that we look after our own mental health and others by continuing to check in on one another and sharing how we are feeling, whether it's with a friend, family member or a confidential helpline like Samaritans."

Whether you agree with lockdown or not. If it was going to be done anyway it should have been done sooner allowing it to be shorter.

I think you can only travel for essential business.
But it comes a matter of interpretation.

To me my daughters welfare and mental state when suffering from baby blues and feeling lonely and mildly depressed is essential business. I appreciate the authorities may have a different view? In this case surely it should be down to my judgement rather than a broad brush stroke decision?

Mortgage holidays to be extended

They had been due to end on Saturday but homeowners will now have the option for longer.

As well as this, businesses forced to close in England can receive grants of up to £3,000 per months, while local authorities will be given £1.1bn for one-off payments to companies in their areas.

If it’s that serious then you just go if the flight is going. I personally would. However whether the flights go is a different matter.
