ChildishAnyone who is over 70, doesnt work, has underlying health issues, stay the fuck in. Hows that for a starter ?
Any age that has a particular health issue dangerous to covid and doesnt work (few on here) , stay in.
thats my first 2 ... hows that ?
How??? Id call your method of debating ignorant and rude.Childish
Christ, you were being serious. Have a think practically how your proposal would work and why it isn't being considered by government. How??? Id call your method of debating ignorant and rude.
Why shouldnt those 2 catagories protect themselves better , thus protecting the NHS ?
Fake news ?
No, which is why there isn’t a single country that has tried protecting the vulnerable while everyone else carries on as normal. Not one. Why do you think that is if.Simply because it’s nonsense. It doesn’t protect the NHS.As you ignored earlier , i mentioned the 2 most vulnerable. You skipped that.
Yes can probably only protect so many, but, again, for your benefit..
over 70, doesnt work, underlying health issues. Stay in!
Any age but with a particular health issue that is dangerous to C18, doesnt work. Stay in!
and, again, those two sets of people make up a HIGH % of deaths and hospitalisations. So stay in, protect yourselves, and the NHS.
no?

Not to my knowledgeDidn't the government already set the criteria for who is vulnerable and send them letters asking them to self isolate?
Yeah, they did back in April. My Mother got one, as did one of my mates. They weren’t allowed to leave the house for 13 weeks, I think it was.Not to my knowledge
The same people who if they did nothing and stood and watched as death rates continued to increaseIsn't that the point here? Not everyone is opening their arms up and begging for a new lockdown, and there is opposition towards it in the media, politically, scientifically and even by the WHO itself, but if you watch certain channels ( mainly the BBC ) you will see a one sided narrative. Why isn't there another solution being assessed that also incorporates economically and mental consideration? Who is going to be held to account for the fall out that will occur here. It also doesn't help when the new measures are contradictory and don't seem to be logical. Test cases are up, because more people are being tested. To me that is dangerous because if the test results are the determining factor, this could go on forever even in light of the fact that the deaths have declined the longer the virus has been around.
I may be wrong but wasn't that those that needed to be shielded, not necessarily the vulnerable as being discussed on here.Yeah, they did back in April. My Mother got one, as did one of my mates. They weren’t allowed to leave the house for 13 weeks, I think it was.
Same with my mum.Yeah, they did back in April. My Mother got one, as did one of my mates. They weren’t allowed to leave the house for 13 weeks, I think it was.
One of the other big pluses was being able to fit comfortable into shirts and tops that I had never worn ... seriously !I’m sure the weight loss made a huge difference to you recovery, I was happy with my 20lb, 35 is impressive.

Purely out of curiosity and a future pub quiz question, are we officially in the first wave still?
