I really really hope we are not next.....the lockdown can’t come quick enough.
What i sad state of affairs - covid, numerous terrorist attacks, if there is such a thing as Armageddon it may aswell come now.

Best to the swimmers and gym bunnies. It's a nightmare.

Cyclist myself so I'm lucky really. I've kept it going pretty much every day for the last 7 months, but it's a real struggle to drag my sorry carcass out now in this dark and weather.
Have you considered running? It's more practical in dark in winter. I started as a cyclist myself and took up running in winter to compliment the cycling, until eventually the running took over.

It was October 14th and it had already started falling.
Yes it was covered widely on the regional and national news that, apart from a few dozen pissed up students, Liverpool was a ghost town. That’s why the City’s mayors didn’t fight going into Tier 3.

There were numerous interviews at the Cavern Club if that jogs your memory?

The results are similar in a number of places in northwest. You can put post code in bbc news. Tier 3 working?
I don’t suppose we will ever know although it wasn’t the driver for Liverpool or Nottingham.
Mind you, I see Liverpool are going to be given mass testing kits for 500000 so that should push their numbers back up....
Rather hilariously, testing positive with one of these is likely to see the self isolation requirement dropped from 14 to 7 days (which is definitely a good thing) but they won’t be able to go anywhere as they’ll be in the England wide lockdown.

The Nottingham peak reflects the outbreak was amongst the student population

It certainly looks like the country’s going into lockdown because it’s the right time for London.

?

I keep hearing that those of us in London have been treated differently. Almost as if those of us down here have had a better time of it. I remember when some, in other parts of the country, were rather smugly believing that this virus was a London issue.

Not saying that at all. The NW, NE and Yorkshire are further up the curve for this second wave and it’s becoming clear that we should have had a shorter lockdown a few weeks ago. London is where we were a few weeks ago and a national lockdown is declared just when cases are slowing down in the north. Just my impression and I’m willing to admit I might be wrong.
