You dodged my initial post with “why havent governments done that then”. Have an opinion of you own pal. Itll brighten your life up!
Then you started rambling, got a bit awkward to be honest.

but .. you let yourself down with your homophobic/homoerotic post. Not sure which it was, i guess only you know that.

have a great day counting your pension whilst the rest of us worry about earning a living.
What pension?

You'd have thought Grtr Manchester given we have higher rates at the moment
You would think so but if it’s a question of who was a good area that we can try to reward as opposed to an area whose mayor thought he was a big time Charlie you can see why we haven’t been the area to trial. Wonder if Burnham will pipe up about this as he has been very quiet these last 10 days after he tried to gave his 15 seconds of fame. Anyone would think the mayoral election is a few months away

At face value yes, but a golf course, certainly the ones I used to play at, have Green keeping and other staff needed to alow a course to operate. Machines need cleaning and maintenance etc

It's not just the socially distancing two ball
I could be wrong, but won’t the ground staff still have to look after the course , golfers or no golfers

Ha ha. I hadnt thought of that.

With this out of date graph stuff, SAGE are doing a stand up job in eroding public faith in expert science committees.
SAGE exaggerating the risk isn’t as important as the population of Liverpool being denied routine care at their City Centre hospital.

SAGE should justify their estimates just like the posters who frequently underestimate the risks of the virus but have been shown to be wrong so many times eg claims that in patients are “routines numbers“, “the virus has weakened“, “there is no second wave”, “Sweden are the best in the World”, “New Zealand have a second spike with four cases”, “It’s a direct trade off between lives and the economy” etc and the list goes on.

?

I keep hearing that those of us in London have been treated differently. Almost as if those of us down here have had a better time of it. I remember when some, in other parts of the country, were rather smugly believing that this virus was a London issue.
To be fair, the north were only getting 67% of wages when in tier 3 because we couldn’t fund more yet once the south joined us were all back to 80%.. go figure.

They should at least keep the gyms open.

It's alright saying excercise outside but how realistic is that during the winter?

I'm a bloke and don't fancy going for a run outside in the dark, nevermind how women must feel.
I was running last night in the kissing rain with a group including some older ladies, they can’t get out now as they won’t feel safe in just 1’s or 2’s they use the group for safety. To stop outdoor groups joining up is more insane than closing gyms !!!

Then groundstaff not needed as much. At this time of year, I would imagine most courses would have many days closed due to weather anyways, so not sure its going to be as bad as some making out
I’m fucking glad I’m not in the U.K., I’d lose my mind without golf and the moment. Though I was never a fan of U.K. winter golf.

Setting off to play now and it’s a balmy 32.

Listening to the news this morning and the Public Health leadership in Liverpool feels a lot more passionate than in Manchester or Leeds.

I hope the mass testing exercise proves a success.
