Jason Cundy just spent an hour telling everyone how boring we are to watch compared to Liverpool. Somehow he managed to watch their game and ours simultaneously.
had to drive back from Bristol last night so had to endure the 2 hours of constant city slagging, was quite funny when after about an hour of scousers calling in creating a Scouse wank fest a city fan finally called who was absolutely arse holed...

On BT highlights show the presenter said Liverpool are clicking now, but City aren’t. And they find themselves 8 points behind already; and could be 11 after Sunday. FFS !
There are not many jobs where staff get away with such incompetence, although you can never rule outdeliberate error intended to mislead.

I remember someone on this thread suspecting a possible joint PR alliance between rags and scouse.
I have no idea whether I typed it or not, but it was definitely in my thoughts after project save English football from English football............

We struggle but teams in red grind out results.
I posted the same thing to my ERO last night after he sent me a snippet from the BBC website describing our play as 'poor' but which they then 'corrected' to 'mediocre' within the same sentence, but the compliment had been made. The national broadcaster is nothing short of a disgrace the way they vary the treatment given to some teams. I suggested to my lad that were it Dippers or Rags then, no matter how shitty the performance, they would have 'ground out a result, it's what champions do!"

Its the 'done thing for broadcasters to back teams from their own country. I always did when British not just English teams played in Europe.
Can you imagine if a commentator was anti-Andy Murray against a random foreigner? The crowd would beat him to death with their expensive handbags;)
What is ERO?

I thought it might be me .;)
I had forgotten about Rory Smith. He was on the DT prior to Ogden and a rapid dipper fan was replaced by a rabid rag. His article is somewhat stilted as he writes for a US audience who hardly understand benefits let alone our system.

Watching the US election coverage they dint understand much at all

after the announcement that bbc employees need to be impartial it’s no surprise it doesn’t stretch to little Citeh.

Talkshite gone full PR overdrive with St Marcus this morning. They sent our Trev to report on it the trolling bastards.

The Rag and Red Dipper dominated media tends to ignore City and do minimal reporting, as they do for most clubs. They prefer to publish fanzine puff pieces on their favourites. When they do report it invariably has a negative spin. Yet they continually use City as a benchmark as a comparator for Rag and Dipper achievements!

We have seen the deep rooted, pervasive Rag and Dipper influence throughout football. The London centric media prefer to report speculative woulda, coulda, shoulda stories on their darlings and other teams playing for a top four position, apart from City.

The elephant in the room is they cannot deny the facts that City's continued success will eventually bite the red cheerleaders on the bum. Reporting around the world is not the same as the UK&I media. You only have to listen to the tone and content of a foreign match commentary.

Just read Custis's Olympiakos match report in the Sun on line , 70% concentrated on our previous failures the TWO billion we have spent and Pep's failures as a manager , does any other top fur club get this treatment ? No , the gushing Dipper report and their heroics with their injury hit squad built on a shoestring is puke worthy
The opening paragraphs are quite complimentary about Torres, but merely act as a Get-Out-Of-Jail-Free card, in the event of the rest of the article being construed as anti-City Bingo bollocks.
In reality, the majority of the match report was written before the game had even kicked off.

I assume like every other media who talk about our failures in the CL, there was no in depth look at the last 4 seasons when major key incidents have ALL gone against us in the QF stage inc the most corrupt matches i have ever seen v Dippers

tbh if I owned a newspaper/news portal I would run endless stories about utd and lfc - It's where the money is at. Doesnt n=make it right.. But I certainly NEVER want the coverage those two have got, its a double edged sword and utd are paying the price right now, not only that I can feel the hatred for lfc getting bigger and bigger right now with all their media sponsorship

It’s interesting how if an expensive signing under-performs at United, the blame is immediately placed on the attitude of the player concerned, as opposed to the club not doing their homework.

Make no mistake, if Pogba or Di Maria, or the largely forgotten Mkhitaryan had signed for City, then the likes of Custis and Talksport would have pounced upon the fee.

Instead, we get this oversimplified lazy bollocks that Pogba is a great player who doesn’t understand the club’s DNA
It was the same with Lukaku who “didn’t play the United way” (whatever that means), but has since never been replaced.
