Why is there such a lng period anyway?

Originally it was because of the time it’d take to get from the West coast to Washington and now it’s about ‘transition’. As with many things in the world, history and tradition are are probably two of the most overused words when it comes to change. The House of Commons has 650 MPs but less than 450 actual seats for them to sit on. It’s now falling down so they could have a technology enabled chamber with access for all and big enough for all to be built, or they could repair the folly they currently use. I'm not American, so at the risk of sounding selfish, as long as I don't have to spend every day for the next 4 years hearing about the orange moron, I'll be relatively satisfied.

Ok maybe landslide isn't the correct word but the gap in numbers on the doors is going to be much larger than we thought it would be.

If that is the case the Dems would take it. There will be a whole load of shit come out between now and then. Court cases for him personally and details of what went on behind the scenes of his administration. He wont have the ability to use the POTUS platform and he will be an all round weaker proposition then than the one who has just lost.

I think if he puts him self forward the primary process would be brutal and the media would treat him very differently second time round. His credibility is zero right now and that would not be forgotten.
