Whens this likely to be called, I want my winnings from William Hill
Not sure which forename will preceed the name Trump but those mentalists are only going to be emboldened by the cult they have createdIf that is the case the Dems would take it. There will be a whole load of shit come out between now and then. Court cases for him personally and details of what went on behind the scenes of his administration. He wont have the ability to use the POTUS platform and he will be an all round weaker proposition then than the one who has just lost.
I think if he puts him self forward the primary process would be brutal and the media would treat him very differently second time round. His credibility is zero right now and that would not be forgotten.
I wouldn't be surprised when Pennsylvania flips that someone calls it. Arizona, Georgia and Nevada will become irrelevantWhens this likely to be called, I want my winnings from William Hill
I guess it depends on the terms you had when placing the bet. Do they pay out when it's called or when it's confirmed (which could be as late as December by the time all states do that). Then there's the recounts and legal challenges. I'd guess most bookies will pay out asap as long as they're not over exposed, which is unlikely.Whens this likely to be called, I want my winnings from William Hill
Well, this is NOT true.Yes but it takes more than a POTUS to get that kind of change. You need various branches to come together. The bottom line with the current ultra partisan mob is that the Dems will get very little done as they dont hold the senate. But at least you will have a decent man as head of state and he sets the tone. If you replace Biden for Sanders he would be in the same position - he would end up with the same outcomes.
What Bigga and his like really want is progressives to hold sway across the whole piece but its not very realistic. But they wont ever admit that - its the same with Corbyn supporters here who still want him to be the next labour PM when in reality he may not even be a labour MP by this time next year and has zero chance of ever being the PM.

The PCA is a separate thing.Yep, very easy to snipe from the sidelines and keep shouting 'nothing will change, nothing will change'
already Biden will put America back in the Paris Climate agreement, he will definitely do more to help unite the US and the world than Trump, so already it is progress.
Think that’ll depend on what happens with PA (or NV/AZ), as many outlets have signalled they will be very conservative when it comes to calling GA given ultimately the likely very tight margins and very high chance of recount.Put the champagne on ice, someone is going to call this election very soon I think.
The PCA is a separate thing.
How will he 'unite' the US when 48% of people voted against him in the popular vote? So, if he can't get those people onside, why would the world look to him to 'unite' them?
Illogical pie-in-the-sky nonsense.

He won’t fully unite the US, it’s the same as here in that those divisions will take more than even two terms to resolve.
Just a change in the rhetoric and framing of the discussion will begin to make a difference though. There’s no chance of that unity having any chance whatsoever without it.
You're misunderstanding the electorate I think. Just because someone votes for something doesn't mean they are 100% committed to that. Take Brexit for example, I voted to leave so am part of the 51.8% but didn't really care if it was canned after seeing the total final vote of the electorate. Many people who voted for Trump will always vote for the GOP out of tradition, habit whatever you call it. And in a general election it is much more complicated with multiple factors to consider and judge the contenders on. Many people on the opposite side will give Biden the chance to prove himself and either reward him or punish him (or the party more likely) at the next chance. The PCA is a separate thing.

Which has been my argument through this entire election cycle.
The incrementalism bullshit will come to the fore with more and more new voter.
CNN have pretty much handed him PA in all but name now. Someone will call it I think when he goes in front thereThink that’ll depend on what happens with PA (or NV/AZ), as many outlets have signalled they will be very conservative when it comes to calling GA given ultimately the likely very tight margins and very high chance of recount.
The trends are very promising right now, though. Could see a call later today depending on how quickly the additional ballots across those states are reported, especially PA (and/or AZ holds).
It will be very interesting to see what the Trump camp and his supporters do over the weekend as the ‘late’ counts mount for Biden (and if major outlets call the race for Biden, with Biden officially claiming victory).
Probably quite a few more court cases, demands for recounts, calls to invalidate blocks of Biden votes, and yet more baseless claims of fraud. Trump and his remaining henchmen will of course continue attempting to excite his base to intervene in whatever way possible, wherever they can.
I also wonder if we’ll start to see admin resignations as the cornered animal begins to demand fealty and illegal action in the desperate attempt to halt the procession to his ouster.
At any rate, I am very pleased for the shift but, as I have said many times before, I am not going to fully celebrate until the parasite has been physically removed.
Comprehensive debates about how Biden will or can govern can wait until the dust has settled and should really go in a different thread, anyway.
I will raise a pint (of non-alcoholic beer, unfortunately) and dance (well, arrhythmically move around) when it is called for Biden, though.
We will see in the next 4 years if he is able to unite the country. What is nonsense is you expecting it to happen over night.
