Trump has tweeted to announce a “big press conference” in Philadelphia later today.

In an earlier tweet, which has since been deleted, he said the press conference would be held by lawyers.

The event is due to take place at 11:30 local time (16:30 GMT), so stay with us for more on that later.

We are expecting more results from Pennsylvania soon. That state alone is all Joe Biden needs to win the White House.

The Democrat is currently leading there by 28,833 votes.

Trump announced the press conference after writing a series of tweets making unsubstantiated allegations of illegality in the voting process in states like Pennsylvania. All four tweets were labelled as disputed and potentially misleading by Twitter.

The president and his team have launched legal challenges in several battleground states, some of which have already been dismissed.
Held by lawyers?

Please let it be Rudi.

Nothing surprising to anyone that has been paying any sort of attention for the last decade, but still a helpful reference for those that *still* think Fox is anything more than GOP/QAnon TV.

The president says "legal transparency was viciously and crudely not allowed" at counts in key states, but doesn't offer evidence.

He said a "lawyers press conference" will be held at the Four Seasons in Philadelphia at 11am local time (4pm UK time) on Saturday.

You really can’t make this up. The four seasons in Philadelphia is not a hotel. It’s a landscaping business in an industrial estate!

Guess it’s as good a place as any to start a turf war...

Really Donald?

Is that real? That a beaut.

makes me laugh when they trott out the line about the worlds greatest democracy and how their democracy is the envy of the world.

all we the rest of the world sees is a fucking ridiculously archaic system that barely resembles any democratic Process that takes the best part of a week to decide.

100% real.

The GOP are currently 0-7 down in lawsuits over the election results, and it's not going to get ant better. Once Biden's lead in >0.5% in Philadelphia I'm almost certain the media will call it.

Arizona 20,573 down again, he was leading by 50,000 to start with
Just to be clear, Biden is *up* 20,573 votes in AZ, after a -7,479 net change from the most recent vote count report.

But, even if the late Maricopa County ballots swing things for Trump (which many analysts says is not likely), Biden’s other leads are projected to be fairly secure, so it will likely make very little difference to the outcome of the *real* election.

Where it could become impactful, though, is in the post-election court battles, as Trump and co attempt to invalidate results in other states that put Biden over the line.

We are entering a very interesting period. Hopeful all of the Republican challenges fail.

And they're predicting that he won't eat into Biden's lead in AZ enough to win it anyway.
I have heard this and it does make sense, it is getting a bit tight for my liking though.
But like I say it's not going to matter since Biden already effectively has Georgia, plus he will take Nevada and Penn
