Erling Haaland

Against Bayern, if Dortmund had abandoned all tactics other than 'give the ball to Haaland' they would have won the game.

He wasn't as clinical as he can be, on a couple of occasions, but all Dortmund had to do, to create a chance, was put the ball in front of him. If they put it there, he got it.

And he makes it easy to play the pass. His movement is simple & superb.

Delap should study it. I think he could do similar.

Did the kid have a good game?

By his standards, you'd probably say no, as he got behind Bayern about 3 times & didn't score or assist (he did score on another occasion) but the thing is, they couldn't stop him, at all.

They could see where he was going, but if the pass was made, they couldn't do anything.

KDB would be able to make that pass 20 times in a game.

We need to go plums deep for this lad. No if's, and's or but's.

Sure we wont though, I'm sure we'll sit by passively while some other outfit snaps him up.
What if we try and he doesn’t want to come here?

What if his agent has called our manager "a dog and a coward" in the press and we have to pay him tens of millions?

I'd call it passive if we get involved. Fuck Mino Raiola.

surely we have to go for it, all guns blazing. we have Pep and KDB, two best of the best in their roles. send andy morrison and Dickov to seduce his old man and get him here; £75m half price
It won't be 75 million. Let's not fool ourselves into a false hope. The spot that shines his left boot is almost worth 70 million on its own
:)

It would be costly. Period. No way around that.

Here’s to his spots never changing at that value

We all know it will take someone special to replace Sergio and maybe the club will have to break their usual stance on dealing with agents to sign this lad. Sell Mahrez (Jan) and even -much to my despair- Bernardo to help fund a run at Haaland in the summer- a front three of Ferran, Haaland & Sterling with Gabriel able to fill in at any time looks blooming good to me. Sergio will be fine this year but beyond that I'm not so sure.
