The Russians have put a lot of shite out there on social media to create distrust of a vaccine because they want everyone buying theirs. Looks like it’s worked to some extent, if the take up is more than half in the population it will make a decent dent in covid. I’d rather take my chances with a vaccine than long covid.

ive had some saying fuck that you dont know the side effects while both being heavy smokers.i said cancer is a side effect of smoking but apparently thats different because they choose to do it.you cant fix stupid.

I’m taking part in a vaccine trial. They were looking for more recruits in the greater Manchester area, so I posted a link on a local community page where I live. I got abusive personal messages all day, plus the most awful comments on the post.

Football fans from Liverpool and Leeds went out celebrating winning the league, even though a greater spread of the virus means it’ll be longer until we’re allowed back in football stadiums...

Now anti-lockdown protestors have gone out en mass during a second spike of the pandemic even though a greater spread of the virus will mean we are locked down for longer and more often...

The irony to these examples typifies the hefty chunk of morons on this island we live on.

Another one was that woman back in May, who was moaning on BBC News about the beach being too busy, then said “we’ve travelled 200 miles to get here today and this is just too busy, it’s not on!”

There isn't a rushed vaccine, they all have to go through the exact same scrutiny and clinical trials process or else they won't be approved.

The announcements today are purely about effectiveness and the safety results haven't been disclosed yet.

They won't release anything that's remotely unsafe because so many people of all ages, demographics and health conditions will be given it.

It will be fully tested and safe , vaccines are the safest thing you can have
