People wishing to break free from a Germany-dominated Europe are literally Nazis.

People using 'will of the people' are using the same tactics adopted by the Nazis. That is undeniable.

To constantly cite a 4 year old advisory referendum won on a slim majority as 'the will of the people' is a stretch to say the least.

John Major correctly called this out.

Why don't you address his speech point by point, then, like some of us do when the likes of Farage make one? this applies to any Brexit fan.

Apart from the highlighted bit the rest of the post is just basically me no like result, no fair.

Better we don’t have any more elections or referendums then mate, every one we have just keeps on confirming we’re no better than the Third Reich.

I often wonder what they would have called and defended a remain majority of 1?

Farage "unfinished business".
Me "a narrow triumph for common sense".
Boris "a leadership bid"
Cummings "There will be chaos ahead. Good"

With respect Vic, 99% of the chaos in your mind is very much self generated and doesn't reflect daily life.

It doesn't affect my daily life (apart from wasting time posting here) and it obviously doesn't affect yours, but it has affected plenty of lives and will affect many more. But I care.

In honesty, I would be relieved that we weren't leaving but also concerned at the narowness of the vote, the distinct possibility that the matter wasn't over and the obvious division of the UK. A bit like how I felt after the first Scottish indy ref, and that was less marginal.

I'm glad you accept you are wasting your time.

Well, not entirely. It's been educational. I've used arguments honed here in other contexts, some where people are amenable to thinking Brexit might be a mistake (easily most of the population now, including Cummings). And I'm much better at recognising wummers and BS merchants.

The question of had the Brexit Referendum been narrowly won by remain if of course moot.

But in any case we would have ended up where we are as the money and influence behind leaving is/was huge and they would not have stopped.

Those on here who believe they made a free choice after examining the facts are kidding themselves.

Particularly deluded is the poster who keeps saying everything will remain the same. If that were true why leave ? Of course it’s not true, we will all feel the negative effects, some greater than others.

All we can do now is sit back and watch the shitshow
