I do feel sorry for the Everton fans when use the term scouser ;).

It must be horrible to have a club like liverpool fc named after your City, yet brings so much shame to your City and football. My missus and I were going to visit the Beatles stuff in liverpool, but after the coach welcome my missus doesnt want to set foot in liverpool.

We a have team from Trafford that like to use our name and our coat of arms, instead of Traffords.

You will be fine if you visit mate. Just keep clear of Anfield and we are not so bad really.

Do Van Dijk does his ACL and within 4 weeks he's back in light training?

Anyone else think that's a bit odd?
No its encouraged these days. A friend had a knee replacement not long back. They had him walking for 20 mins 2 days later and after a week he was told to lightly jog. If he has had the surgery then they will be telling him to do stuff as the key to it is not to lose strength and muscle in the quads and hammies

Just watched their 3-3 capitulation at Palace on Sky. Forgot how much of a bellend Suarez was
Never tire of watching that one with racist Suarez crying like a baby and Slippy "look at me" G trying to push the sly sports camera away after going out of his way to play up to them all season.
Best bit was their mutant fans reactions with Jabba the Hut next to a crestfallen David Mellor open mouthed in the stands. Mellor is a Chelsea fan afterall.

I sed to go out with a policewoman from Birkenhead. Her dad used to be an inspector in the Birkenhead Borough Constabulary. Her mother worked with Glenda Jackson there. So they should have known what she was talking about.
But she said that 'scouser' and 'scally' depended on what side of the Mersey you came from. I am not so sure she was right unless l got it wrong, not being a good listener . Could you tell me what your view is on the two nicknames?

Not necessarily mate, surprisingly the joint can still be quite strong and stable, so long as it's just working like a hinge or straight up and down, the big thing, and when I say big, I mean BIG,is when he starts to put weight on it, balancing, twisting and turning, that's the real acid test.

It'll likely be physio and some cycling on a stationary bike at most.

Meanwhile over on Rawk.

He didn't wear a mask or socially distance. That's irresponsible as if he was infected, he could pass the virus on to others. Not talking laws here, just health guidelines that he's well aware of (the fact he had a mask but was wearing it below his face shows masks were being worn there).

The fact that he has tested positive means he caught the virus before, during, or after the wedding. If it was before, it means his actions could have spread the virus to others - irresponsible. If he caught it at the wedding, then his actions could have certainly contributed to him catching it. If he caught the virus after the wedding, then what was he doing and was he following the guidelines as to how to reduce the chance of infection?

Mo's a great player, and a great human being. But he made a mistake here and was a bit of a silly boy. Thankfully, he seems to be in good health, and hopefully the same is true with anyone he came into contact with subsequently.

He didn't do a Kyle Walker, but I'm sure the Liverpool management will be a little upset with him. Line drawn underneath it, moving on.

This.
Paul Lake goes into great detail in his autobiography how as a hinge his knee was perfect, until he tried to turn or twist then it would go with very little stress on it.

Exactly Dennis, having done mine decades ago, I remain steadfast in my belief that unless you've had the injury yourself or you're an expert surgeon, you never truly comprehend the gravity of it, I was still comfortably deadlifting and squatting way over 200 kilos for reps back in the day with no issues other than a bit of a dull ache the next day sometimes, yet end up in a heap on the floor in agony from ballroom fuckin dancing !

And that's just the physical side, the psychological side is another completely different ball game to over come.
