It's astonishing how Liverpool have caught us up and left us trailing miles behind in the short space of about 4 seasons.

The way they play and the way they are drilled is second to none. Just look at when Leicester break with the ball. Every one of their players is busting a gut to get back into position. It's chalk and cheese watching them to us. We all thought and myself included that Van Dijk getting injured would hurt them. They have dropped 2 points since he got injured.

Our recruitment and regression of most of our players over the last 2 years is shameful.
