Well it's the last glimmer of hope .If it's not that then we are truly fucked.
 
Happy to get through the group so early and easily. Good to get a few minutes into Kun & Fern. Thought Stones did well, ditto Gundogan, Dias & Foden. Surely Foden starts most games. Also happy KDB actually got some rest, and Walker, hopefully KDB is only used for the league games for a bit now.

Can see the mojo slowly returning, we should've put 3/4 past them but it's building.
 
Comfortable but frustrating. A few fast break opportunities where we seem determined to slow it down to matador football and then our choices on edge of box and execution well off.

Key players coming back main highlight and Foden always seems to do something.
 
A "curate's egg" of a performance.

Glad to see Stones and Mendy coming back in. Mendy fired in some dangerous crosses but maybe too hard as they were not easy to get on the end of.

Cancelo seemed very involved and positive - great goal set up by Raz.

Would have liked more goals - hopefully they will arrive against the dingles on Saturday
