Went with the dog.
Stones played well, as did Mendy.
Others too but thought I’d give the boo boys a mention.

Sumptous moments from Foden, including his very well taken goal but faded when he went out wide.

Gundogan heavily involved and looked in total control.

Dias gets it from me though. On the face of it he didn't have much to do, What he did do though he did very effectively, sniffing out any chance of a breach with minimum fuss. Also strted opening his gob and marshalling the others.

honorable mention for Stones as well. looked comfortable on the ball (finally) and put it about a bit when needed.

Voted for Stones - that was a reminder of what he’s capable of. If he keeps that up he will get a lot of games.

Foden was excellent, nice and direct. Dias continues to impress.

Foden for me, but I thought Mendy was pretty good especially in the first half, in fact our back 4 all played well.

Foden , but if you want a laugh go to the BBC player ratings , worst player on the pitch apparently , BBC becoming more of a joke with every passing day.
I saw that too.

However, I think it’s the publi's vote, rather than the BBC’s own ratings, which just goes to show how little the average armchair fan really knows about the game.

The fact the BBC see such stupid voting and allow it questions their integrity.

BBC and integrity in the same sentence , apologies.

Easier to say who it wasn't. Bernie is clearly lacking confidence, and it showed. Good that he had the full 90 minutes though.

Everyone else had a pretty good game. Notably Foden, Dias and Stones, but I went for Gundog in the end, as he controlled the game in midfield. Tough decision though.

Only one choice for me today

I think it tells more about the c**ts that bother to vote, so Sterling was one of our poorer players gets the highest vote, while Foden our best player gets worst player on the pitch. It'd also be nice to see how many people have voted to gauge how bias it was.

How many on here bothered ? It was already closed by 8pm, about 25 minutes after the final whistle, I cooked dinner after the game finished, the majority won't be City fans, just c**ts.

Why would anybody even give the bbc player voting section a second thought? It’s not meant to be taken seriously, it’s nothing but a tool for rival fans to downvote players they dislike. Of course they’re going to downvote the 20 year old local kid who looks like being England’s best player for decades and who takes every chance he gets to mention how much he loves City. As petty as it is I would probably do the exact same thing for a United or Liverpool player. why it’s even getting a mention is beyond me.
