I know people joke about it, but a few years ago I was in Liverpool for a concert, it was the day the dippers were playing a friendly against Bayern Munich I think.
Any way, as I didn't know where I was going I thought I'd ask anyone in a football shirt, they're bound to know, but fuck me, nobody did, just Scandinavian, Oirish and various other non scouse accents, the moment I decided to change tact and just ask some random shopper, he knew straight away.

I have family who live in Portugal, flew out one day, the day after a dipper home game from john Lennon airport

It was rammed with plastic Scandinavian dippers....I was laughing with my 2 sons about it.

I have heard around 3000 make the trip for the home games.

Remember when that volcano erupted and it grounded all european flights. I seem to remember their was a huge amount of empty seats at a certain ground that day

Can I just say, Klopp ironic klapping the linesman for a “soft” penalty being given against them and then getting in to an argument with the post-match interviewer over Liverpool getting a bad match schedule is truly the pinnacle of entitled mad arse unwittingly ironic comedy.

The only true scouse genre that he has mastered so quickly.
