It's group games, so although united "won" on penalties, we still get a point for the draw, so it takes us to 7, and all the rest are on 3, and it looks like there is one game to play (everton v united, but no idea why it hasn't been played), so we are through regardless.

Last minute safety problems at Everton ground. Conveniently a couple of days after a gruelling Cup Final. United were unhappy.
