90's Dance & Old Skool Classics

Does anyone know the actual mix name of this version of the track?

It’s just listed as “(Edit)” on their Balance 013 mix album, but I’ve never been able to find it anywhere else. It doesn’t seem to be any of the remixes that you can find.

The differences to other versions are quite subtle but it’s the best version of that track I’ve ever heard. It might just be SOS’s own edit of it, might even just be an edit they did for that mix.

Love it mate, but that first version is delicious as fuck.

Made me wonder why after all this time they would come back as Altern 8. Didn't say it was good or bad either way just put on out of interest

Its Mark Archer on his own. Him and Chris Peat don't speak to each other. Hes been playing as Altern 8 for a few years now.

What do you think of it?

Deserves a share this. Top skills - no f*cking about.

She's amazing, always has been. Shes not one for long drawn out mixes, she just plays the right tune at the right time.
There is something quite intoxicating about watching someone playing vinyl. The techniques, nuances and idiosyncrasies are so different for each individual. It is mad how she turns her hand and flicks her finger to slow the record down.
I am all for digital mixing formats. There is just so much more from a creative pov that can be done on a controller and laptop, in comparison to vinyl. But from a dj's point of view, it is just so much more enjoyable playing vinyl. It will never be beaten. I am not one for saying it was better in my day, I like advances in technology. Yet mixing records on turntables is so much more pleasurable than just pressing a button.
Mixing vinyl has become a bit of a dying art and it has developed a bit of an aura around. It is very rare to see it in a club or bar these days. Most places don't even have turntables any more. I hope the Jedi knights of the DJ world manage to keep it going for a while yet.

Not old stuff but Armin Van Buuren's. "A state of trance" podcast episode 1000 is now on. normally its 1h a week but for the 1000th episode its lasting a whole week doing the top 1000 trance/Dance tracks.
