Very sad news , her husband had only recently put her in the care home , dementia is so cruel and no way to go
She said hello once to me in passing in a bookshop back in the 80's - remember thinking how pretty she was compared to how she looked on the tv (and how little she was). Never a fan of Eastenders but she always seemed like a genuinely nice person off screen, RIP.Stunning. God bless ya Babs.
On another sad note, you would have thought the state funded BBC would have shown one of her films tonight as a tribute. They could have sacked off Celebrity Antiques Road shite and stuck on A Kid for Two Farthings or even Make Mine a Million. 2 truly great films for a Friday night double bill.
What do you expect mate from a me me me corporation.Yeah - they are just showing "Babs" a drama /documentary about her life.....what bastards ignoring her

The woosh of stagnant air as it rustled through your sod clumps. You may have not heard of the clarkie, being whelped in 2012, but it happened to be my last one and a reverser at that. Hens teeth as they say, but yes she really did have smashing tits and you cant take away them Carry On Films because some stagnant organization may think them inappropriate. Its what she did best and one of our all time greats. Should we even be even discussing greatness and the beeb in the same sentence.Well they could show a camping film where her tits pop out or a film depicting her life in tribute - I know which one I think is more appropriate
